She was walking back to her house when an area below her darkened. Kenai. She jumped down, shifting her arms into bat wings to glide to her left, to the source of the darkness. There, she saw Kenai, Annabelle and a Chimera that she had never seen before. Kenai seemed cranky, and the cholera sad, so she landed and once they shifted back to human, she but her hands on her hips and looked accusingly at Kenai. She came after the chimera had responded, but she could tell by the facial expressions."Are you being mean someone again?" she said.

Kieran paused outside the tavern and waited for them to catch up before stepping inside. It was decorated like a normal tavern, with wooden tables and chairs scattered throughout and a minstrel, who was a regular here too, playing an upbeat tune in the far corner. At this time of day, it was full g people, mostly men, who were rowdy from drink.The Silver Dragon was a pub he often visited whenever he came into town, so he had his own table always set aside for him, and any guests he had.
As he walked through, he got hardy greetings from both the patrons and the workers, which he gave right back. He lead the group to a back corner table, vacant, even with the crowds.

Looking up at the queen with a stoic expression, chase nodded slowly. "Yes, it was near the forest. And thank you, your majesty, thank you very much! Where shall I be staying?" Chase plastered a look or thankfulness over his facade, because with the looks the two had given him while he was telling the story, he wasn't sure he was totally believable.. If he got caught it WAS his own fault after all. If you're going to spy you have to act the part and Chase was a bit rusty, and had to stop relying on his glamour to save him. He had to start trying harder from now on to remain incognito.

When the nobleman asked which room he would be staying in, the second in command immediately intervened before the Queen could answer. "With all due respect, Your Majesty, I would like to show our guest to his room and take him off your hands... we do have matters that need to be discussed regarding the monsters...." Korsia needed to discuss her reports along with sending another squad out to check on the monsters... and she didn't need a nobleman interrupting her meeting... or perhaps that was the reason Korsia convinced herself with... when really, she just didn't want this particular man that called himself Chase, to be anywhere near this valuable information.

Her mind began whirring, mapping out the castle grounds, finally locating a well suited room for a nobleman that was near the training barracks, which meant she could constantly check up on him.

The Beta didn't realize the impact his words would have, and regret shot him in the gut. Two new monsters that could serve as warriors, or even valuable folks that could turn the tide against those irritating humans, and he had acted as if he outright despised them. Kenai opened his mouth to utter an apology when the sudden sound of cutting air caused him to glance upwards, right as Chiyoko dove in to land. "I wasn't trying to be mean...." He spoke defensively, casting the Alpha a wary look. Kenai shifted his weight away from the tree he had been leaning on, and shuffled back a bit. His head still pounded and for once in his long life, he actually felt sick. Biting back a groan of pain, the Erlking summoned his shadows back to him, causing the sanctuary to flood with light. It was clear to those that knew him that something was clearly wrong.

(I'm thinking that perhaps Kenai had gotten poisoned or something....)

Her mind continued to wander to the male elf's words, puzzling over them. As Shikira followed the pure bred elves into the tavern, the outrageous noise threatened to drown her, causing the girl to shudder in unease. However, as her gaze traveled to the male, she realized that he had a home... right here. Everyone knew him and greeted him like a pal, shouting out greetings no matter how many tables away they were from him. It was interesting... seeing such a different race being greeted heartily by so many people from a different origin. Her amber eyes were soon tinged with interest as she spotted the vacant table they were headed to.

"What do you think of this place?" Shikira murmured to Orchid, silently noting the bright smile on the elf girl's face.

Orchid followed the group to the tavern, and clearly knew when they arrived due to the new wave of voices. She remained close to the group since she was unfamiliar with the area, but it didn't seem like Kieran was. She watched as many people greeted the elf, and assumed that he had been here many times before. All of the noise and crowds overwhelmed the female elf a bit, but it wasn't much of a difference from earlier. Orchid was about to follow Kieran to the private table before she heard Shikira ask something in a quieter voice. The elf girl shrugged before answering, " I'm not sure.. It's a but crowded and overwhelming, but it's not too bad. "

Orchid honestly didn't care much for the noise since she was used to tuning voices out, but she was more concerned about the actual people. Even if Kieran knew most of them, Alicity, Shikira, and herself didn't as far as she knew. The elf girl didn't want any trouble and only wanted to eat and continue on.

Eden continued to stand there, looking sad before another figure flew into view. She looked up at the girl with her honey eyes and waited to see what she had to say. She listened as the seemingly young girl told the male to apologize, and Eden interrupted by frantically waving her hands. " N-no..! It's okay, really. I shouldn't have trespassed. " The chimera then watched as the only male summoned back some shadows, and clearly seemed in pain. Eden usually didn't worry about these types of things too much, but something did seem wrong. The girl hesitated for a moment, before slowly walking up to the young male and softly reaching up to place her pale hands on his cheeks. " Are you okay..? "

She sighed at Kenai's response. "Meaning to or not," she chided. "You were and you need to apologize."
When Eden went to place her hands on Kenai's cheeks, she let out a deep wave of bloodlust, arms crossed and mouth tightened into a thin line. Now, she stood silently waiting for Kenai to react.

Once they were all seated, a barmaid walked over. She was not the most beautiful, but she had more than the average women when it came to looks. "Your usual, Kieran?" She asked, and with his nod, she smiled. "What about you two young ladies?" With the other two, her voice was more strained, clearly jealous of their situation.
