"Oh, o-of course," Lilly murmured, waiting until her had left the room before letting out a large sigh. Gathering her own things, she left the room, closing the door behind her, and began looking for her own. Room fourteen. Well, that was going to be easy to remember. Smiling, Ljilljianna stopped in front of her room. She opened the door and stepped inside, glancing around the small room. At least, it would have been smaller according to other people, but it was bigger than the blonde was used to. Snapping out of her slight daze, she literally dropped everything she didn't need onto her bed and ran out of the room, the door practically slamming shut behind her. 'I'm going to be so late,' she thought, hurrying to her next class.
Once she had arrived, Lilly paused outside of the classroom, resting with her hands on her knees. She had run from possibly the other side of the school. However, a small inkling in the back of her mind told her that she'd better get used to it. Breathing heavily, the girl stood up straight and fixed her clothes, hoping that she didn't look too bad. At that moment, Jemp had decided to jump onto her head, making her hair even more of a mess. Giggling, she reached up and pulled him off. In order to keep him hydrated, her father had enchanted him with magic so that he stayed alive. In this case, she didn't have to worry about wetting her hands to handle. Lilly smiled, holding him closely. "We're finally here."
Having long ago gotten class and even longer since he had found his room, Sorenge jumped up from his chair, sending it toppling backwards. He blinked, realising that he must have fallen asleep waiting for the class to start. "Oops," he whispered, gingerly picking up his chair and sitting again, bright red blush evident on his cheeks. Once his embarrassment had died down, the seventeen year old cast his eyes around the room, realising that a lot more people had found their way to class. Wait, had it already started? Maybe not. There still seemed to be a few empty seats. Relieved, he sat back in his chair to stare at the ceiling, getting lost in thought.
What Sorenge didn't expect, though, was a small black cat to land directly in the middle of his stomach, causing him to cough and splutter. "Ugh, Kindle..." he whimpered, pushing the kitten onto the desk and hugging his torso tightly. "How many times must I ask you not to do that?" he asked, receiving a meow in reply. "Apology accepted, now come here," the boy murmured, smiling and gently picking up the cat. He rested Kindle in his lap and started patting him, smiling as the tiny creature purred at his touch.
