"I like to think of this as my second chance. Maybe we're meant for something more..." he hesitated, unsure where he was going with it. "Unfortunately I'm not doing so well with my second chance and I intend to change that, starting now."

She nodded then smiled. "It's good to know that.. I never really realized you have to make the best of life before it's gone. Your life can end with a blink of an eye, and that's what happened to me.. But now I finally realize that and maybe we are intended to prove that to others I don't know but I realize that now."

"Maybe you're right... maybe that's the purpose of our second life," he said thoughtfully. Jay looked up at the night sky and stretched his wings. "Want to fly?" He asked with a smirk. Flying was one of the only perks of being a dark Angel.

Zeke shrugged again. He fished out another cigarette from his pocket and lit it. "Been on my own since I was fifteen. The noise and chaos makes me feel less alone." He took a puff of smoke. He exhaled once more.

She chuckled and smiled brighter. "Of course I would!" She stretched out her wings and pushed her self up sending her flying in the air. "But you have to catch up to me first!" She called down to Jay and smirked then twirled in the air and took off.

Jay flapped his muscular wings, lifting himself higher and higher into the air. A rare smile remained on his face and he was soon above the buildings. Jay swerved to the side and caught up to Alexa with a smirk still on his face. "Got you," he laughed.

She laughed then smirked. "We'll see about that!" She pushed him gently trying to knock him off balance then took off again laughing.

Jay lost his balance and fell to the side but he quickly regained it and flew faster and faster intending to catch up to her. The wind swept against his face, blowing his hair. The feeling was exhilarating and in that moment he knew he was truly alive.
