Yes! Yes! She was ready. Barely able to keep her feet still, Rose closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath. As she slowly let it out to right herself, she ever so gracefully flicked out her wrists, signaling for her coven to join hands. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Looking around at her coven she spoke in deep, collected and ever so devilish tone,
"Alright now, focus. I want all of you to focus on the beyond. Let your power flow freely as we summon those who lie in wait at the festival. They are dying to meet us you know...." She trailed with a devilish chuckle before taking another deep breath.
Rose paused only for a moment before announcing,
"I hope you all did your homework. Let's start the chant together and dont miss a beat. If you do, there WILL be consequences..." her gaze lifted from the floor and eye'd every member individually, focusing a little more on Myddrin as he would be the most likely one to stutter in her mind.
Returning her eyes to the center of the circle, Rose focused in on the heart, imagining it beating as she started,
" Taker of life, god of gods, accept my offering. Bone, flesh, breath. Yours eternally. Bone, flesh, breath. I beg of you, return them to me...." Rose began to feel the power of the five rushing through the circle like electricity. Her eyes focused on the heart, she watched as the heart shook ever so slightly until finally it began to beat.
"AGAIN!" She proclaimed loudly with fire in her eyes before restarting with fervor,"
Taker of life, god of gods, accept my offering. Bone, flesh, breath. Yours eternally. Bone, flesh, breath. I beg of you, return them to me!". The heart beat wildly. It even seemed as if blood began to pour from its detached vessels, but it was still not enough.
"ONE MORE TIME!" she screamed over the sound of her own heart beating against her ear drums. Her own nose starting to bleed as their power intensified, "
Taker of life, god of gods, accept my offering. Bone, flesh, breath. Yours eternally. Bone, flesh, breath. I beg of you, return them to me...." and with the last word, Rose suddenly collapsed. The circle went dark as the heart on the ground ever so slowly came to rest with each "lub-dub". The blood it seemed to be spilled slithered back into it like a snake once it laid to rest. It was as if nothing had ever even happened.
