"what?" wasn't exactly what issac expected raia to say, but that makes it sound like he had actual expectations on what she was planning to say. "um...are you looking for food??" issac asked, inching over to a large cabinet in the right corner of the dinning room. conversations don't count as excuses to slack off.

foster had made it down the stairs and was now facing the piano's bench. her eyes focused on thalia for a couple seconds before shifting over the the piano once she started explaining the meaning of palace. it sounded to her like a lot of meaning to take from a instrumental, but foster sees that happening a lot in music and at least it's a really nice song. thalia continued speaking until she asked if she could do anything for foster. "you can't." she circled the piano and looked under the lid, it's clear something's on her mind. "... does telling me what school was like for you count? how could you hide and control your powers?" foster asked, looking up from the piano's inner workings.

"Kohaku?" Akiko didn't look away from the bush she was crouched in front of as she spoke, running a finger over one of the leaves curiously. She'd only just now realized the familiar weight on her shoulder had been missing, though this wasn't the first time the marten had wandered a ways off from her. It just meant either he was relatively certain she'd be safe or her was going to assure himself that there wasn't anything dangerous nearby. Her guardian was nothing if not thorough, though Aki doubted she would have been sent here if she were likely to be put in danger. In response to her voice a head popped out from under the bush before an orange blur darted out- leaping from the ground to her knee, and from there to her shoulder. 'There are others around,' he informed her. She wrinkled her nose slightly at this rather obvious statement. "I would certainly hope so, Haku. There are supposed to be other people here." She noted slowly.

Matthew was sitting in the room across from the dining room, he was currently just sitting on the floor instead of one of the many chairs and was currently invisible (from my investigations, the only ones at this time who can see him when he's invisible to mortal eyes are Raia and i think Akiko? unless Xen is also 'dead' ... idk how demons work .-. correct me if im wrong ^^') having not wanted to interact with any of the newly arriving guests... slightly antisocial, yes, he would accept that. his notebook and pencil were lying discarded on the floor next to Kippin who was lying just in front of him, sleeping soundly as he ran his hand through her soft fur. He was currently being very careless as since his wings were to large to stay folded while sitting, they were spreed out behind him, he figured they were safe from feet as he was the only one in this room. he heard talking from inside the dining room, but decided to ignore it.

Alex was wandering aimlessly, he wasn't sure whether he was lost of not quite frankly, but he also didn't care. he was just thinking about things, which probably wasn't the best thing for him to do. He missed his family. His beautiful wife and his two kids, they were his world. He didn't even get to say goodbye to them, as he left on his trip early in the morning when they were asleep. He sighed softly,turning down another random hallway, he probably should take note of where he was going, otherwise he really would get lost. Oh well, that would be a problem for later.

Iris nibbled on her bottom lip as she wondered the halls of the manor, she had only arrived at this place the other day so today she decided to try and learn her surroundings but found that she was completely lost, she had no idea how to get to her room or to the front door. While is is nice actually living in a home of sorts, she wasn't exactly used to it as she spent most of her life living along side a stream with the rest of her family. Iris pulled the sleeves of her over-sized jumper over her hands then wrapped her arms around herself as she slowly made her way down a long hall.

Naomi looked past Chiyoko when she heard the newest voice speak up to see a large man walking up on the manor. "Yes, sir, it is! Welcome!" She answered with her best smile. "I would invite you in but our front entrance is currently under magical influence. If you wouldn't mind waiting a moment, it should be fixed in no time at all." She directed a quick pointed glance at Aspen, hoping that would be the last prod needed to get the portal down. Naomi directed her attention at the man once again. "Have you come to rent a room, sir?"

Tamako watched the new guest walk by. They didn't move from their place in the bushes until he was completely past. They would never admit that they were actually intimidated by this person's appearance, but anyone who was around at the time would have noticed that they waited until the Bovitaur was at least three feet away before rushing out of the bush and towards the back entrance of the house. Once there, they shifted into her more human form with fox ears on their head and their multiple tails. Tamako entered into the dinning room finding the optimistic dog man, what was his name again? and Raia, who's name Tamako only remembered because ghosts always unsettled them slightly. "Afternoon," they called with a smirk as they moved towards the nearest countertop with food on it, readying themself to snatch a bit of the nearest, most appetizing thing once dog man, Isaac! That was dog man's name!, turned his back to them.

Matthew gets up as he hears another voice in the dining room. perhaps they were meant to be in there? he didnt know of any meeting, but perhaps it wouldn't hurt to check. He collects up his notebook and pencil and puts them in his jean pocket, they to turning invisible as they disappear into his clothes. he then proceeds to push open the door separating him from the dining room and walks in, Kippin close at his feet, slightly sleepy. He lets the door close behind him as he surveys the ones in the dining room. he almost instantly recognized Raia, he was fond of the girl, but perhaps that was because she got even less of a chance at having a real life than he did, how ever he was slightly unfond of the fact that that meant she could see him no matter what. he only found out that other 'dead' beings could still see him when invisible after coming to the manor. he shakes away those thoughts before looking at the other two, one of the employees, Isaac. and a guest, who he didnt entirely know... he thinks that the name was Tamako, but he has no way to tell unless her name gets mentioned. he stays silent, not that he had much choice, to Isaac and Tamako, it would just look as if Kippin wandered in by herself, as of this group only Raia was able to see him in his invisible state. perhaps Isaac would know he was here with her, as he was an employee and Matthew often did this, but who knows.

Iris sight as she slowly turned a corner, she was hopelessly lost and desperately wanted to get outside to some kind of water source. When she looked up she spotted another person down the end of the hall making their way towards her. Her eyes lit up as she quickened her pace towards the man. "Excuse me, sir?" She asked ing a soft voice, "excuse me but I was hoping you knew where the exit is? I got lost while exploring." She continued, hoping that he would be able to help her.

Alexander stops short when he hears the voice, blinking slightly in confusion as he escapes his thoughts "oh, hello miss" he says and smiles, albeit slightly awkwardly. at the question of where the exit was, he looks around at the hallways "im afraid im not completely sure of our whereabouts either... i wasnt really paying attention to where i was going, though the hallway i just came might be a start, as i came from the entrance before" he laughs softly "though, i would be happy to accompany you on your journey to find this elusive exit, if you would like the comppany, that is" he adds the last part slightly awkwardly, he wouldnt want to bother her, if she felt like being alone

Sslumped her shoulders at his reply, disappointed, she was about to open her mouth to thank him anyway but stopped when he continued. Her eyes lit up with joy as he said he would help her search for the exit "Oh, you would?" She asked with a small smile, "that would be wonderful, thank you." She finished with a nod as she stared up at him, only just realizing how tall he was compared to her but he didn't feel intimidated by it ay all. "Well then, please lead the way." She stated with a small tilt of her head.

Alex smiled softly "of coarse, i would be happy to help" he hums, his eyes shift away from her briefly when she looked up at him, he was never good at holding eye contact with people "right, so uh... right this way miss" he hums as he turns back towards the way he had come from and starts to walk. he realized soon after that he had never introduced himself "oh- where are my manners, my name is Alexander... Richardson" he added his last name as an after thought, was it normal to introduce oneself with a full name? he used to have to use his full name when meeting new business partners, but he wasn't so sure about outside of that. forcing his thoughts away, he looks back across at the girl, waiting for her to introduce herself.
