Paige sat motionless at the top of the waterfall, listening to everything around her. She never knew how much she would miss that waterfall until she couldn't see it again. She took her hand and traced the long jagged scar that extended from the top of her left cheek bone all the way to the top of her right eye. Blinded and scarred from the explosion she had to rely on Lovino and Michael to be her eyes and sometimes that could prove difficult. For now all she could do was sit and wait, listening the rushing falls beneath her.

Michael looked at the fox, he heard it's muffled bark but not very well, normally he would use sign language with Lovino or Paige. He could hear but not very well. He grimaced when he saw the fox, the last time he encountered one was six months ago and that turned out to be person and the other one was with the leader of the AMCO. Lovino approached it carefully, not yet reaching for his blade.

Michael frowned when the fox whimpered, unless it was a kit (which it certainly didn't look like) or was completely stupid it would have run away by now if it was a real fox. "I'm going to the fields if you're going to mess with that" he said to Lovino, looking down at his bear paw pendent. "If you do, under no circumstances shift if you do that you'll break your arm again" he signed back, getting a nod from the boy he turned back to the fox "What are you?"

Michael ran away from both the girl and Lovino, making it to the field he sighed and inhaled deeply and laid down in the grass of the misty field. He looked up at the sky and became motionless, he knew he was vulnerable due to his partial deafness but right now he was too relaxed to care.
