"Well yes but it wasnt my decision."She said as she took her sword and struck the chain hearing it snap.

Nylie rubbed where the chains had chaifed her skin. "... Why help though? I could easily turn on you."

Keyleth didn't speak up yet, but silently she agreed with the dark stranger. In the forest, she always knew where she was, but she could never find her way around here. The ranger quickly darted between two houses, accidentally kicking a pebble with the toe of her boot as she did so.

Tai'vil halted at the sound of a pebble clattering on the stony streets. He turned his head in it's direction looking out of the corner of his eye. "Hmmm..."

[chase.]

"Its my nature to be kind and I was once a prisoner and I know its not nice."said Wolf

Nylie studied the stranger as if trying to decide something. She sighed. "Then my honor dictates I must thank you for freeing me."

The man stopped walking, and Keyleth froze. For all her curiosity about this man, she couldn't help but also feel a strange revulsion toward him. Something about him, and especially the scythe on his back, just felt... unnatural. She could have confronted him, but she instead remained in the shadows, unsure of whether or not he could see her.

Tai'vil tunred back and began to walk again. His pace quickened. He focused his senses to see if someone was truely following him or it had only been his imagination.

"Do you want me to come with you while you make your journey back to your home?"she asked

Keyleth breathed again when the man started walking, and she began to follow him again, keeping as close to the houses as possible. Occasionally, a board creaked when she stepped onto a porch or stair, but aside from that she was as quiet as the grave.
