Brie Thomas • Water Elemental • Concocting a Plan

Brie smiled at Rhys. Even though they had just crash landed in some foreign world, she couldn't help but feel as though something large had just been lifted off of her shoulders. Yeah, scientists could be monitoring her every move, and yes, all they had was an emergency kit and some jumpsuits, but she was free. "I think that sounds like an excellent idea," Brie said, heading to the group of people by the fallen craft. She overheard one of the girls say something about moving away from the craft. "I think if we do decide to leave the wreckage, we should stick together and head along the bank of that river." Brie gestured to the winding path of water that split through trees and bushes over the crest of the hill. "That way we won't have to worry about fresh water, and we can avoid being cornered by beasties or other people, if there are any." Brie wasn't sure if where they had landed was part of Earth, or some unknown planet or dimension with any varying degree of technology or wildlife. She was definitely curious, but also wanted everyone to be safe.

Jasper Grey • Wind Elemental • Talking to Nao, Eric, and Evvie

Jasper nodded in agreement, moving over to inspect the still smoking ship. "I like the idea of getting stuff out, but I'm just not sure how. It's a mess in there. Anyone have the ability to cut through metal? Because we all know how much strength it took just to get the door open. This is some high-class machinery." He tapped on the side of the craft, sending a low ringing noise across the top of the hill. Jasper didn't like the look of their options. They would need to find or fashion some sort of weaponry; the food in that emergency kit wasn't going to last forever. Sure, as an immediate need, it was the best they had, but in the long run...Jasper just couldn't see any way out of their circumstances. They would need to make everything last.

Jack hadn't really been paying attention when the scientists were going over the safety precautions. She had been trying not to freak out due to the enclosed spaced that she was trapped in. She had eventually zoned out until her throat had started to stinging forcing her to start coughing her eyes also started to water. Then there was a bang and pipes and pieces of metal came out of the ceiling. She cut her head on one of the pieces of metal blood started to run down her face. She tried to wipe it off with her jumpsuit but it didn't do much. She climbed out the teleport machine with the rest of the people the scientists stuck in there with her. She couldn't believe her eyes at the land she saw. There were trees everywhere she ran up a hill that was near her. The hill over looked the hole land she could see for miles. There were mountains in the distance capped in a layer of snow. There were hills covered in green grass and forests filled with tall trees.

Evvie nodded and listened to the other's suggestions, as to what they should do, glancing back over at the craft. "Well I think that heading along the river sounds like a good idea. And as far as getting into the craft goes, I think that we'll be okay so long as we give it a couple seconds to air out. I mean, two of the doors are already open so it shouldn't take to long, and I think that the scientists said that the emergency kit was in the back, so at least we know what way we're heading. Oh, right, and I'm Evvie, to those who don't know. And I can fly," she finished, figuring that the others were going to figure out her powers soon enough, so it just made more sense to tell them from the get go. Before she could raise the question of who was going to enter the craft, another girl stumbled out of the craft, and began to look at her surroundings in awe.

Rhys jumped in surprise when another one of the test subjects stumbled out of the device, looking bewildered, and with a startling amount of blood running down her face. Cautiously, he approached her, moving closer to make sure that she was okay. "Hey there," he murmured, trying to get her attention. "I'm Rhys. Do you remember what happened and are you hurt?" he questioned, trying to figure out the best was to go about the situation.

Brie Thomas • Water Elemental • Helping Jack

Brie smiled, glad that Evvie had agreed with her idea. As the new girl tumbled out of the craft, Brie saw a flash of red grace her face. She's hurt! Brie thought wildly, running over with Rhys to help. Brie knelt down on the mossy ground, placing a hand on the girl's chin to inspect her wound. "Minor abrasion on the right side of the frontal zone, shouldn't be too hard to fix. Head wounds bleed copiously anyways." Back before she was taken to the institution, Brie had taken extracurriculars on the path to becoming a med student. She knew much about human anatomy, and about how things worked with the human body. Although this girl looked like she was badly injured, as long as she hadn't lost too much blood Brie could easily fix this. "Rhys, please prop her up onto her back," Brie said calmly, rubbing her hands together. "I don't know your name, but you should know mine. I'm Brie. I don't know how much blood you've lost, but I can help you. It's going to seem little freaky, but just bear with me. I'm sure this will help." Closing her eyes, Brie reached towards the ground, searching for the water that fed the mossy earth, making it green and fertile. Like blood through a vein, the water floated up in a stream, glowing softly as it wound its way around Brie's fingers. Brie placed her hand on the girl's wound. Murmuring softly, Brie could feel the wound begin to seal. It was deeper than Brie had originally thought. Breathing heavily, Brie took her hand away. The wound was healed, but it had taken a lot of energy.

Jasper Grey • Wind Elemental • Talking to Evvie

"You can fly? Me, too. Well, sort of. I can kind of hover. Mostly I just make strong winds and inspire storms." Jasper smiled at Evvie, trying to seem friendly. He figured that it was better to get along with everyone right from the start; that way, they could avoid unwanted disputes later. He also wasn't usually open about his powers. They were what had separated him from his family, and he sort of figured that no one else would want to hang out with such a weirdo. But all bets were off now. None of them had any idea where they were, and their only goal right now was to survive. Supernatural powers would actually come in pretty handy. "So about this...spaceship thing. I'm thinking that as well as the emergency kit, we might be able to use some of the bits from the actual ship. Maybe some of the seats will have fabrics we can refashion into shelters, or at least nets or something."

Evvie let out a sigh of relief when Rhys and Brie headed after the girl who had stumbled out of the craft and up the hill. She didn't know them very well, but from what she could tell, Rhys was more than happy to help, and Brie seemed to be some sort of a water healer. To any extent the new girl was in good hands. Feeling good about the situation she smiled gratefully to Jasper when he explained his powers, glad that there was another flyer in the group, and glad to know that he trusted her enough to reveal his abilities. Comforted, she turned to Naomi and Erik and stated, "Okay then. So far the plan is to get what we need out of the craft, regroup, then head away from the wreckage down to the water. Anything to add? Oh, and who wants to go back in? If no one's interested, which is understandable, I'll be glad to do it." She finished, looking at the rest of group, and hoping that they'd also be willing to reveal their abilities.

Rhys listened dutifully to Brie as he propped up the new girl, and let the water elemental work her magic. When she seemed to be satisfied with her patient and with her handiwork, he once again stepped infront of the new girl, and cradled her head in his hands, checking her eyes for dilated pupils, a sure sign of brain injury. However, she appeared to be in working order, besides looking a bit bewildered. "Well then, you're looking okay. I'm Rhys, once again, just in case you didn't hear it the first time. I'm glad that you're alright!" He smiled at the newcomer before releasing her face and turning back to Brie. "Wow Brie, you're amazing!" he beamed, his smile only faltering when he noticed that Brie looked a bit drained. "Hey, are you alright?" he murmured, kneeling closer to her.

"I'm jack" she told Rhys as she back away from him and the girl named brie she wasn't really comfortable being touched. She turned around and looked at the vast expanse of land "it's beautiful isn't it" she said absently as she gazed out at the vast amount of land. Jack reached her hand up to were she had the cut on her head she was surprised to find it gone. "where'd the cut on my head go" she asked startled though once she had thought about it wasn't that surprising that someone in the group could make cuts go away.

"Yeah, I'm...I'm fine," she said, her vision blurring slightly. She shook her head and tried to stand, but her knees immediately buckled, sending her to the ground. "Deep cut," she mumbled, smiling. "But I did it." She looked to Jack, trying to make sure that the other girl was okay. "Are you alright? Is there...is there anything else I can do for you?" she asked weakly, looking around. My, she thought absentmindedly. The place really is beautiful. Things were fading in and out of focus.

Brie closed her eyes for a moment, if only to stop the pounding in her head. She would recover, but it would take a few moments. She felt the water, deep within the ground, and let it soak through her skin, revitalizing her. She just needed to take a moment to rest and to breath. She could feel her body lowering itself closer to the ground as her vision blacked and her thoughts faded. Healing had always been a risky maneuver; she had only tried it a few times, and each time it seemed like the bigger the wound, the more energy it cost to heal. Brie vaguely wondered of the possibility of bringing someone back from the dead. Would a feat that large cost her her own life?

"I don't think it's a good idea to go in alone," Jasper said to Evvie. "I'll help you salvage," he said, looking to the craft. "You never know, with our abilities, we might be able just to float it all out," he said, trying to keep things light. He had never really been great with jokes. At the very least, with two people, they could bring more supplies out for everyone. Jasper walked to the edge of the crash sight, examining the door where most of the others had exited. It looked like it was almost off of its hinges; with a final tug they might be able to remove it completely, providing a better access to the inside of the cabin. "I'll leave the call on how to go about this to you," he said, gesturing to Evvie.

Evvie smiled at Jared, his awkward little joke lifting her spirits. When he suggested that the go into the craft together to retrieve the emergency supplied together she nodded, thinking it out. "Well, it sounds like a good enough idea. And we know that the supplies are stored in the back, and this door," she stated motioning to the nearly unhinged door, "was towards the front, so as long as we get in and get out as quick a possible, we should be okay. I say we finish opening the door, then go in, with one of staying in the middle of the craft and tag team it out. Sound like a plan?"

"Woah, take it easy," Rhys murmured to Brie as she tried to stand but immediately fell over. "It'll do us no good to lose our only healer," he chuckled lightly, all while silently checking Brie over to make sure that she wasn't seriously injured. As the water elemental mentioned doing anything else for Jack, Rhys shook his head. "Not on my watch you aren't. It's fine if people are seriously injured, but you really are needed to conserve your energy. We don't know what we're up against, and we really do need you," he chided the girl, who had closed her eyes and was looking like she was refueling. He let her do so for a moment before turning to Jack, and stating, "Jack, I think that we can look at the view another time. And believe me, I was caught up in it all too. But first, we need to get settled and we need all hands on deck. Why don't you head back over to the other group and see if they need any help?"
