Daniel gave a chuckle and a nod. "Of course. He's just too much of a prude to show it. But, next time, just try to ignore him. No matter how much you chase him, he will never learn his lesson. Trust me, he's stubborn." Daniel explained to Jem with a friendly smile, reaching out a hand to pat Delilah as she plopped down beside Jem. "And besides... Don't give up, yet. I'm sure she'll come back, kid." Daniel added in a softer tone, pursing his lips into a thin line as his bi-coloured eyes rested on Jem. He then stood as a movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention.
Oh no.
Oh hell no.
Striding towards the cabin was a suave, brunette haired man with syrup brown eyes made his way towards Daniel with a grin gracing his lips. No matter how much of an ass he was, Daniel had, to admit, Lucien was attractive.
"Hello, again~" Lucien purred, smoothly hopping up onto the porch. He was wearing faded blue jeans and a thin, white button-up shirt. "I just thought I'd drop my and say hello to my two favourite freaks. Don't worry, I left Vicente back at the hotel. He's such a party crasher." Lucien chuckled in his deep voice, his eyes surfing over Daniel before flicking his syrup-brown gaze down to the dragon-hybrid sitting on the porch, cocking an eyebrow in Jem's direction.
Daniel watched Lucien with growing intrigue and distaste, watching the loose strands of the man's loose hair flutter in the breeze. He shouldn't be admiring the man's looks, he was engaged! "Screw off, prick." Daniel growled at Lucien, glaring at the man.
Audalis raised his eyebrows at the girl's word of preference, giving a snort as he furrowed his brow. "I'm no freak." he snapped, sticking his nose in the air. But, he glanced back down at her, mentally chiding himself for being rude. "If you're asking what makes me different from you in-superior humans, I'm a mer who is well known in the arcane arts. My curiosity brought me here, so I can see what you would define as a "freak", in this little caravan. Care to introduce me to people? I want to see if this place is worth my time." The elf spoke, moving a hand to his hip as his amber gaze rested on the white-haired girl.
