Adira nodded, then laughed as she brought up how creepy it sounded. "Yeah, but only if you didn't know the reason." She shrugged, hopping onto her board when the water was just below her waist. Standing up, she took a moment to allow herself to balance out then grabbed the oar from where it had been setting on he board. "I don't think we have long," she commented, seeing more lights light up on the coast, meaning they were getting ready to set them off. She knew they didn't last too long after the were lit, so people usually waited until the last few minutes.

Jason nodded and took the lantern from her hands. He put it down on the dock, the other one next to it so he could hold them down with one hand. Picking up his soda bottle, he took another sip but remained watching her the whole time with a rather amused expression. When she first started to pull herself out from the water, he automatically assumed her colorful tail was her swimsuit bottoms. When she was on the dock, he realized that that was clearly not the case. Jay's expression faltered, all humor gone. She's got to be playing some sort of trick on him, right? A small frown forming on his lips as he set the bottle aside. Reaching his hand forward, he gently ran his fingertips over the scales near her hip, obviously unsure whether he should believe what he was seeing or not. Her tail appeared so realthough... It would also explain why she hadn't come out before, how she had snuck up on him, and well, basically everything. "You're serious..." he spoke, looking up to her. He meant for it to be like a question though it came out more like a statement. His expression was one of clear bewilderment.

Hayden shrugged and walked inside after she did. "I don't know. You can sit down on the couch and I'll get us something to drink. Are you hungry? I could make you something to eat."

Elieen sat on the couch. "Yes, what are you gonna make? What will it be made out of? What movie are we gonna watch?" she asked all at once.

Hayden chuckled. "I was going to order a pizza for us to eat." He said looking at her. He trapped his phone and ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and half cheese. After ordering he set his phone down and walked to the kitchen. He got them both pop and walked into the living room sittin own next to her on the couch.

"Oh, I think I know what Pizza is, something with cheese right?" she asked. She looked out the window and thought *Wow, so many buildings.*
