"And I will try my best ma'am." She said with a smile. She bowed once more and returned to buying horse. She had found the perfect one. A nice black stallion. She got out her gold and paid for him.

Maria continued to the castle, now exhausted and anxious. Normally the new staff editions wouldn't worry her so much but because of what happened to Aiden she was edgier than usual. She entered the castle through a back entrance that went through the kitchen. The warmth from the ovens instantly assaulted her. It was a pleasant feeling after her cold ride, and the atmosphere was warm as well. In a way the rest of the wait staff had been her family for the past five years and their voices filled her with joy. This place was home to the girl who had never really had a proper home. Maria had never envied the royal family for there riches, it was there family she longed for. A father, a mother and mant siblings seemed perfect in her eyes. She smiled and waved at some people as she continued down to the servants quarters

As she paid for the horse her eyes wandered around the stable. There were many different breeds and colors of horses there. The one she choose was a pure black Arabian Saddle bred. She walked up to the horse and patted its head. She stroked his long silky mane.
Different names for her new horse popped into her head. But the one she loved most was Shadow.
"Hey there boy." She whispered delicately. "Lets go for a ride."
Crystal hopped onto the horses back. She grabbed her materials (which contained her armor and other needed clothes) and rode out of the stables.

Serena sighed quietly as she walked on, shaking his head at his words. "As if I'm free right now. I can't even hug the guy I love and haven't seen for more then a year." She replied quietly, trying her hardest to go back to her polite self. Serena bowed for the kings and queens as they entered the diningroom. She sighed softly and walked over to her seat, sitting down next to Tristan. She just stared at the ground as all sorts of emotions raced through her head, though it was mainly sadness and annoyance which were showing.

Sparrow listened intently. As Cassia spoke, her light greyish eyes narrowed in displeasure. She was married? she thought incredulously. And now she's a nun? Has it really been long enough for all of that to have happened? A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as she realized how Cassia's declaration of her devotion to God seemed a little bit halfhearted, but the smile disappeared, when she heard the news about her parents. Cassia's parents had always been kind to Bird when she'd needed it, and there were times when she thought of them almost like she thought of her own mother. It pained her to hear that Cassia's mother had passed away and that her father was not doing much better. Bird noticed that her friend seemed to be barely holding together. She sensed that there was something that Cassia was hiding, and it seemed that it was taking its toll. When they'd been younger, Cassia had been unbreakable, and breakdowns were incredibly uncharacteristic for her, but now it seemed that something was brewing underneath the surface. Bird reached out a hand an laid it lightly and comfortingly on Cassia's shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear about your father," she said, knowing how close the two had been. "Is there anything I can do to help? If there is anything I can do for you, please tell me," she said, finishing by meeting Cassia's eye with an intense gaze that let her friend know that she was not only referring to the issues with her father's health.

Ethan saw Lucy approaching the stables, having changed rather quickly. She was wearing dark blue breeches and a billowy shirt that laced up in the back so as to not ride up on her slender frame and her bright hair was tied up into a bun. He was unused to seeing women wearing clothing that was as masculine as her riding clothes, and he couldn't help the slight blush that rose to his cheeks. It was not that she was wearing anything particularly revealing, but he was very unused to seeing a woman in clothing that was as fitted as what she was wearing. His country upbringing had sheltered him form much of that. "A-alright," he stuttered, tearing his eyes back to Areo and stroking his sable nose gently.
