Besides I wouldn't even know how or where to start." Aralynn closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and adding, "Nobody will know. On my honor as queen nobody will know, you have my word. And you can trust me to stick to it."

Pushing his way through the dampened grass, Kenji nodded at Jessika's response. It was good she didn't push him, he reminded himself. This was the right choice- friendships weren't things he was good at. His hand lifted to his cheek to touch the scar on his face as he thought back to the blade that cut him there. He didn't like to ponder about such things but sometimes they were inevitable to think about. He spoke up instead of dwelling on the thoughts that plagued his past. "I am afraid Zephyr doesn't get much attention since I am often in the castle with the king. It isn't much of an excuse- is it? I suppose we will have to give him some extra attention to him today while I can, hmm." He nodded to a man in a guard's uniform walking past. The man seemed bewildered at the fact he was walking with a girl and a horse. Nevertheless, he pushed through without a word to him. "Here we are," he said mostly to himself. He pushed open the heavy wooden doors and the smell of horse became the only thing that filled his nose. It wasn't an unpleasant smell- but one he was still not used to. He moved quickly to the third stall on the right where his horse was lapping up water. "This is him," he said softly. The horse was a black beauty with knowing, warm eyes the color of chestnuts. He shook his long head before stepping closer to the bars. He was eyeing the newcomers wearily but didn't seem to be bothered by the scents.

"no...i didn't retrieve a name. my main goal was asking him about the history scroll he has. I wanted to know if their was any mention of the butterfly in it....but he didn't get a chance to finish talking..." she spoke with a frown, worried about the entire situation. These things just happened with no warning. Nobody could ever locate the murderers. Nobody even knew what was doing the killings. Innocents got caught in the crossfire, and she couldn't help but feel as if her sister shouldn't have been left alone....as if there was something wrong.No....she was very sure something was wrong. "I-I'm sorry, Aki, and....what's your name...." frowning she kneeled down beside Ronin. " Don't worry. Everything will be ok. Aki is going to help you, and you can stop by the castle once you've recovered." she then turned back to Aki. " I'm really sorry to ditch you...I really am...but I can't help but feel like something's wrong..." with that she hurried out of the cafe, beginning on her way back to the castle.

Once he turned the corner to where she couldn't see him,he used his speed to run off, swiftly exiitng the castle's grounds. Once outside, Al had woken up, and for the time being Adrian relinquished control, but only for now. he could easily have kept it if he wanted. "Care to explain anything, Adrian?" All in good time, Al. We have quite a bit to discuss

"Oh.. yea that kinda is rare. Do you want to just go back to the castle or.. oh shoot wait a second. Someone is behind us again." She said, whipping around to see the man again from earlier, obviously trying to be smooth stalking them. "Ugh, I thought you would've given up." She said, fangs bared. 'Urm- th-this is a misunderstanding...' He said. Rori's stomach grumbled, meaning she was already hungry. Hoping he could understand, she thought: I'm hungry.. would you like to feed off of him or no?

Ren shook his head. “I wouldn’t if I were you.” He turned to flash a fake smile at the man. “I hear prideful human blood taste very bitter.” Ren played with his hair and went back to walking. Another human spotted him and complimented his fox scarf,they clearly didn’t know he was a vampire.

The redhead let out a quiet sigh, viewing him from the corner of her eye. Kenji actually might be her type, she decided, but...they barely knew each other, and she didn’t feel anything...Well, she could feel something romantic, but not...her romantic affections were far easier than her sexuality. Shaking her head, she dragged a hand through her red hair, humming quietly. She didn’t acknowledge the guard, just continuing to follow Kenji, Carniss walking right with her. They entered the stables together, Jess following Kenji over to the handsome Arabian. She held out a hand to the horse, waiting to see if he’d accept him by blowing out a breath, or not. She nodded at Kenji, saying “He’s a good lookin fella, like you. Um...What you said a little earlier: you should try and spend time with him now. Maybe...we could go for a ride? I already have my horse.”

He made a small sound, almost a sigh, and nodded at her. He could almost call Akira his sister...but he wouldn’t, because they weren’t related. Well, maybe they were, second cousins or something. Shrugging to himself, he shook his head and returned his attention to them and the situation. “Make sure Aralynn is safe...” he whispered into her ear, sure no one would hear. He hummed softly, calmingly, hoping it had an effect on the stranger. “Ah, yes, I’ll help you.” he said, wandering over. He somehow managed to get Ronin up though, because Ronin was bigger, he was heavy so he had to lean on Akihito.
