ezra nearly smiled when he heard marley's response, until she quickly fell back into her normal shell. he held back his frown though, but his features remained confused as he bit his lip. to marley's next words, ezra stuttered, "uh, yeah... of course i can do that." he shifted in his seat, leaning away a bit, "but you're going to have to come out with it sooner or later, you know. it's going to eat you up." ezra then sighed, "just... consider my advice, at least."

junnie wasn't entirely amused at his brother's joke, but appreciated his attempt at lifting the mood. "very funny." he muttered lowly. he looked over at storm while they walked, and he still couldn't believe that that was actually him right there. he loosened a bit more when he heard that they were almost to the camp, but still remained on edge. how many survivors were there? would they like him? would they even accept him into the group? junnie stared down at his feet, mind racing, heart thumping against his chest. he piped back up when storm spoke again, "i'll always be by your side, i don't think i could lose you again. so you don't do anything stupid either." this was either going to go good, or bad.

indentation Benji only nodded in response. The thought of his future was in the hands of a bunch of stressed out teens, it made him feel nauseous. They all had to grow up too quick, become adults and make big decisions while trying to stay alive long enough just to see themselves turn into the thing they were killing. "Isn't it just morbid how we're trying to survive, even when we know the outcome of our lives once we hit twenty?" He asked Nova sadly. "Is it worth all of this if we're just going to turn into the one thing we're trying to run from?"
