She was ready to leave but there was just one thing she needed to do first. She stopped by Tyler's door, knocking softly before peeling around the door frame. "Hey Ty? Thanks for earlier." She said what she needed to say and then slipped away towards the town lying between her and the safezoners. She was ready to he out of this place for a little while

Calypso gave a slight smile at the deputy's laugh, surprised she was being so friendly to a newcomer. She thought that she'd be a little more hostile, though she wasn't complaining whatsoever. A little friendliness was welcomed with open arms. It'd been awhile since she'd been treated kindly. This new world didn't exactly allow for it. The group she has stayed with as an eleven-year-old tolerated her until she was nineteen, when her older brother and protection had taken in an illness- not the one that ravaged their world, but a severe flu. While it wasn't worrying at first, it quickly became noticeable how serious it was but they didn't have enough time nor medication to save him. Callie thought she would die too, at the time, as the mostly-male group thought a girl would be weak and vulnerable. Part of what kept her going through the next two years was a fierce determination to prove them wrong. She was proud of surviving that long all alone, though it was the worst two years of her life. Unwilling to let any regretful emotions show on her face, she settled her features into a neutral but open expression. She wasn't perfect with masking feelings, especially when she was angry, but she was slowly improving. She returned the smile Sky gave her. "That's good to know. I'll try not to piss you off too bad," she joked. It felt strange teasing in such a dire situation, but she never was one for absolute seriousness.

Damion swept stray hair away from his face, taking a momentary pause to scan his surroundings thoroughly. He was outside of the safe house, what the people in it liked to call the Safe Zone. The name felt surreal and slightly ridiculous. He'd always seen movies and read books set in the catastrophic future with names like that, and now he was in a situation fit for a novel. Cold amusement burned a blue flame inside him. Lucky me. Now he had to watch for monsters that leapt from the fictional world to his, creatures who would love nothing more than to wreak havoc on any life they saw. What irony. People dreamed of stories to entertain themselves, leading to so much merchandise over something that could potentially kill them all off. They romanticized it, and in return, got snuffed out. Catching himself mentally rambling, searching for someone to blame, he scowled and set off again at a steady but silent pace. His worn boots treaded softly against the dusty ground, leaving faint imprints that the wind would soon wipe away. If he were to be struck down and his body destroyed, nothing would remain to show he once existed. The thought was bleak, almost as bleak as the dreary wasteland around him. He threw up his hands in frustration. Scavenging wasn't exactly easy.

He couldn't help but be somewhat suprised as he turned around to see Dawn thanking him, not to mention what she had called him. People in the group primarily prefer to keep formal with him for safety precautions, When they were kids sky's mother used to call him that a lot, unless he got into trouble off course. Not really wanting to say anything and seeing she was in a rush to leave he simply nodded in approval. Things were getting chaotic for him. The hunter were no longer the clockwork perfect group they were, primarily due to still settling in after the attack, but also for many small reasons he was now in the progress of sorting out, he had to get things back on track otherwise they didn't stand a chance.

Bianka chuckled lightly at the girls excitement. for someone her age the walls weren't as much lifesaving as they were restraining so travels were common amongst the youth. Despite them having enough years to adapt to the new reality no one can truly get used to this, for this world was so dangerous and unpredictable, one move could be fatal. She was rather suprised by the hug but in a positive way. when the girl was off on her way she simply got back to the mundane work.

Despite being the head guard she still did the same tasks as everyone else, just having some extra things to do. since there was no changes to the current schedule everyone knew what they were doing for the day, and for the first half she had street duty. it was simply roaming through the streets making sure there was no trouble and everyone was alright. keeping up the jog all the way up to her apartment she made her way in and immediatly went for a drink of water. a sigh of relief with her quenched thirst she took a shower then changed into more fitting attire and armed up, soon enough she was back out and on the streets of the safe zone.

Just like that, each of them weren't fulfilling their assigned roles. that harsh reality was all left outside of those withered away doors. Leaning back slightly he looked towards the entrance blankly for a moment as he thought about this fact. He didn't want to leave, this felt like what he was looking for, peace. But this wasn't forever; the knowledge that as soon as he left those doors it would be back to the brutal life made him stressed on the inside. but that was a concern for later thankfully. looking towards leilani he spoke out "you deffinatly have it the best out of us. I mean our place isn't too bad, but after the attack we had to move and start all over... Man I'd do anything for electricity." He assumed that Morgan did not know about the attack just over a month ago, but if he wanted to know he could ask. He's never been in the safe zone so he didn't know exactly what was it like, but he knew from stories the other hunters would tell, or when they were making plans for attacks. the fact that they had water and some levels of electricity were out of his mind, so many years had passed living life without such luxuries they felt like myths now.

Neveah has to wipe her cheeks again as her tears hadn’t stop falling over her cheeks. She listened to what he said and was a little mad he followed her but she had no right to call him out for it now. “I didn’t think I would ever have to, how could I just one day turn around and tell you the truth? That’s when I was most afraid of loosing you.” She told him the adressed Tyler.
“He found out from someone else I can’t remember who or how they found out. Thought he would kill me in my own room but he didn’t, he did much worse. He told me I will have to get information from him, pretend everything is fine and make him talk otherwise he’ll kill me, or him. So now you hate me it makes it easier for me to leave, I love you but I can’t do that to Miles I’m so sorry.” She told Klaus and turned to sit on the bed, her back half to the door.

He smiled as she left and closed the gate. Next time she went out on a supply run, he decided he’d go with her. He probably wasn’t supposed to leave his station unattended, but it wouldn’t hurt for just a little while.

The Xyrcan brothers had been walking along the halls, Evren completely bored out of his mind when they realized that the door to the medic's office was open. Seemingly, Dawn had just left the room so someone else must've been in there since Ryker heard multiple voices as he passed. When he heard Evren's abrupt entrance and greeting, he nearly shrieked. Ryker pulled Evren back by the collar of his shirt and stood in front, wringing his hands in some kind of panic.

"I'm really sorry, sir. I hope that didn't startle you. Evren—" he shot a look at his brother. "Needs to learn what humility and formality is..."

"Yoooo!! Tyler, what's up, dude!" Evren nearly burst through the door which had already been ajar, but Ryker pulled him back with such force that he nearly stumbled.

Judging by the way Ryker was acting, Evren knew he'd be getting a pep talk later about speaking with respect. Evren did indeed respect Tyler a lot. The thing was... The Xyrcan just didn't have any self-control. Evren sighed and walked further into the room, this time without barging in. "Sorry, sir. May I ask what you're doing right now? I'm very bored.

Dawn was back from her trip within the hour. It hadn't taken long to gather what she needed. She returned, stopping by Tyler's office only to find two other visitors there. "Um." She knocked softly on the door. "Hello guys. Tyler, when you have the time, I'd like to speak with you." She smiled awkwardly, sorry for interrupting their conversation before stepping out and heading back towards her stuffy office

Tyler was focused on the plans for the next few days, as well as thinking about the situation with Naveah, he didn't actually expect her to comply, who in their right mind would do something like this, Truth is Tyler pushed her on purpose, this would show exactly where her loyalty lies. He didn't care which way things would go, so long as they don't loose more than they gain. Despite being somewhat lost in thought he was still expecting Wren, so he kept his sharpened hearing on high alert listening for footsteps, soon enough he hears the sound of two people approaching, but as the footsteps neared they clearly passed Wren's room, it couldn't be him. Hearing the unexpected loud outburst he tensed up, it was hard to scare Tyler due to his general nature of being on high alert, but it was rare someone would speak to him just like Evren did. Despite the fact the man was older than him he still acted like a teen full of energy and spirit, Honestly it impressed him that his spirit was not yet broken by this world. Turning around to face the two strange brothers he sighed "No worries." As he heard Dawn enter he simply nodded in approval to her before taking his attention back towards the two. Hearing the question he turned back around towards the desk, picking up a piece of paper with notes which he looked at as he spoke " im planning out the schedule for this week." Looking back up at the two he raised and eyebrow slightly questioning "There's plenty of jobs to do around the motel? im sure you could find something efficient to satisfy your boredom."

Not bothering to waste much time staying in the safezone doing nothing. Nathan once again left the walls in search of nothing in particular. If he managed to stumble across supplies or a new area then that would be a simple bonus. The forest was fairly silent except the sound or some would say the music of nature. A figure came into view that took Nathan by surprise as it wasn't a person or walker. But a dog taking a few steps closer he was able to see the german shepherd more clearly. Rarely did he ever stumble across a dog he assumed someone must have been nearby. By the shape the dog was in it clearly wasn't just some stray.

"I'll hold you to that." Sky was normally pretty easy going most of the time. However, she could easily be serious and stubborn when need be. In the past Sky was pretty timid but after going through everything with the safezone and the hunters she's changed over time. "How are you settling in?" She was curious how Callie was doing. From experience, Sky knew how difficult it was for her when she first came to the hunters it took some time for her to really find her place. Which she still trying to figure out where she belonged in the scheme of things.

Moving across the room silently. Klaus sat down the bed behind Neveah. His arms wrapping around her waist in a comforting and reassuring way. Wren was quite amused the whole situation. Upon hearing the girls question he looked at her than the dog. He could easily just shoot the two and get things over with and he actually was surprised why he didn't kill the two already. In the past, he could've killed someone without a second thought yet here lately he was different. "We do and if you tell us your name we might spare some." The girl and her dog were clearly not from the safezone judging by the shape the two seemed to be in. So, in that case, Wren remained more civil then he normally would have.

Meg could hear a faint whistling noise coming from down the road. Who she assumed was the one who set up the traps that were just proving to be an annoyance. Carefully Megan slowly made her down the road keeping her eyes on the ground making sure she didn't step into any snares or traps. Which was proving to be quite difficult however the voices in her head encouraged Meg to keep going. A few minutes passed and she had made quite a bit of distance without getting into any traps. She could faintly make out a figure in the distance along the road. With caution, she continued moving closer to the figure avoiding traps and snares. Without prevail her foot ended up getting caught in a snare which caused her to collapse to the ground. Quickly Meg fooled with the snare around her foot trying to loosen it enough for her to slip her foot back out. While also trying to rush before the unknown stranger got close to her.

"Would you mind enlightening me on what the schedule looks like? I'm still not very used to everything. I still do have trouble getting up in the mornings. Thinking I'm back on the farm and stuff." Ryker raised an eyebrow. Evren mentioned he'd be heading off to the motel, and the older brother let out a sigh of relief. "Stay safe," he said to his brother, just before the man left. He nodded to Dawn when he saw her return for a brief moment, but turned his attention back to Tyler rather quickly.

"Anyway, while I'm here, sir... I need a pair of glasses. I hope you won't mind me looking around."

"Cool!" Evren exclaimed, holding two peace signs up with his hands. He wiggled his index and middle fingers, showing Ryker who rolled his eyes. "Well, I'm off to the motel, dude," he said to his brother who nodded, but remained intrigued with Tyler's plans. "You'll know where to find me if you ever lose interest in the boss' work!"

Evren ran off like nothing had ever happened in the medic's office. He took toward the motel, only to find that some kind of situation had been going on. He found a few other members of his team, a girl, and a dog, both of which he didn't recognize. Evren decided to hide out for a while and watch the situation unfold from behind a tree.
