Honestly Roxy was just thankful for an opportunity to get off the horse. The bouncer's feet gratefully met solid ground as she moved in front of the incapacitated members of their party settling into her fighting stance. her focus was on the bushes the tendrils had come from, but she made sure not to ignore everywhere else. The initial strike could very well have been a diversion.
"Don't worry about what it was," she called out, "worry about if it's got friends. I think we've walked into an ambush."

Jo joined Roxy’s side, however much she would like to avoid her, and surveyed the area as well. “You got a plan to get them to show themselves? I’m not opposed to getting my hands dirty in the bushes, but it might be easier to fight in the open!” She remained light on her feet, easier to run and dodge that way. Maybe push roxy out of the way of an attack if she was feeling particularly flashy and heroic.
