Mark climbed down from the tree and spoke quietly "I think we are safe for now." He sat back down near the edge of the hot fire and stared into the flames deep in thought.

Willow

Willow scanned the forest again, she was sure somebody was near them, she walked back to her brother but didn't sit back down, she whistled in very high pitch which sent out a sonar echolocation and she waited it for the returning sound waves, this would tell her if anyone was out there.

"Why in the world," Jason started, "did you not defend yourself?" Not waiting for an answer, Jason ranted and shouted at Edith, enraged. Why did she just stand there like some lunatic and doll? Was she crazy? Did she have any means of self-defense--why did she not run?

she was startled by the sudden noise of the sirens and she realized that another experiment had escaped. "they should really tighten up on security here." she said to herself. "I will be right back." she said as she grabbed her clipboard to see which experiments had escaped. She reached two empty cages with the names willow and mark. She then radioed the hunters "be on the look out for willow and mark" she said. then she went back over to where Darrin was.

Winter

"It's ok I understand she said and I'm doing fine thanks for asking" she said "so what are some of those?" she asked pointing at the colorful liquids he had been using.

Morgen (pg.9)
The male scientist had problems. How can he dare say those things. He had no idea what she had gone through. Fine his parents were dead but hers gave her up as a baby. In her opinion that was worse. She sunk down to the bottom of her tank where they wouldn't see her cry silently.

Stabilizers, sleeping fluids, food..." He shrugged, turning to a microscope with a wide petri dish under it, filled with a black liquid.

"Nothing special," he answered, fiddling with the microscope. "It's a thing to put them down for a while. A few hours, maybe a few days if the injector isn't careful." Taking an eye-dropper with a miniscule amount of purple substance in it, squeezing some into the oily black liquid. "I might just have to use it on that mermaid," he muttered to himself.

"Since your nose is the only thing we have to go on. I say we follow that scent." He follows the girls lead through the forest. He couldn't believe it. He was going to see his sister.

Cossete Ridge (pg.2)
Cossete hears footsteps behind her and she runs faster. She takes time to sneak glances at the other two girls. They seemed to be just fine. She catches a glance of Adam behind them. He was catching up. She yells to the others, "RUN! FASTER!"

Morgen (pg.9)
Morgen perks up when she hears the sirens. At least some people were escaping. She sees the girl run away then come back to ask the male some questions about the serums. She listened very carefully to see if she could learn something that would help her escape. Maybe she could soften up the male to helping her to escape. No, that could never work or maybe there was a serum that could give her back her legs. She hums to herself underwater thinking of ways to leave.
