Raising a rebellion (Medieval fantasy Closed)

Laelynn shook her head. "not too bad, my eye. You need to get that bleeding stopped at least." she answered. She wasn't naive.

"No, really. I've been through worse. It's moderate at most." Akiria said, but relented and moved to let Laelynn help. 'I guess we'll both have to get patched up anyways, until we get back to the cave..' she thought.

Laelynn lifted Akirias shirt and looked at the long, straight wound. It would scar badly, she knew. She grabbed the bandages and started to 'patch her up.' she hissed on a breath as she pulled on her shoulder.

Akiria sat as still as possible, gritting her teeth against the pain to keep from reacting as much as possible. "Well.. thank you, Laelynn." she said. Her whole body was rigid as she waited for Laelynn to finish. "Are you okay? Those were some bad injuries." she said.

Laelynn finished bandaging Akiria and stepped back, but tripped and fell. She felt clumsy. "I'll be alright..." she mumbled. Her shoulder kept bleeding, since the pad hadn't been attached properly and not put enough pressure on. Laelynn was pretty sure she had lost a lot of blood, dangerously lot.

Akiria immediately stood to help Laelynn. Spotting her shoulder, she gave a tiny shake of her head, grabbing extra bandages and removing the one the elf had originally put. Quickly taking a piece of the bandages, she applied it to Laelynn's shoulder, her palms pushing a little against it to keep it in place. She took a step back to make sure it was on correctly, then nodded. "Anywhere else?" she asked, looking over her.

Laelynn shook her head. "I'm pretty sure I bandaged the leg up properly." she answered quietly. She tried to stand but was too shaky, too weak.

Akiria nodded again, though concern shone in her eyes. "I think it's best if we rest here for now." she said. "I'm pretty sure the caves aren't too far away, but I don't think we should risk tiring ourselves out by trying to get there." the elf added, bringing herself to the ground as she lay against a tree.

Laelynn nodded, but the words didn't make much sense to her. She suddenly felt very sleepy, and her eyes drooped.

Akiria made room for Laelynn as she lay down. They both needed rest. 'I just hope this won't turn out too bad for either of us..' She thought back to the commander, Vaxas, and frowned a little. This might not be good for her.. 'Rest now. You can think about it later.' she told herself, closing her eyes.

(I think the rebellion is staying in these caves in the mountains, according to the introductory post: "The rebellion is currently stationed in a complex cavern in the northern mountains." I noticed recently, oops)
