Jaai sighed once more, whispering to Erion. "Hmm, I dunno. She might be useful. Maybe bait?"

"what do you mean by bait. Look at this. She killed a huge moose for us and her to eat. " Kylie said.

"Kylie, if you're going to take the caracals, don't whine for the rest of the trip. Please." He whispered to Jaai again. "Someone tell her what a bad idea touching a rat could be." He sighed frustratedly. "Kylie, that mouse is for you. Most of us wouldn't even consider that mouse as food."

Laurel sighed as she started doing flips on her branch. "You guys need to hurry~"

"Nah, we'd use you as bait, Kylie. Not the cats. Actually they're kinda growing on me," Jaai mused, patting the cat's head. "Look! She's very nice. Thanks for attracting her, man."
"Bah, Laurel. We're going as fast as we can. We're kinda weighed down by Kylie's new buddies," Jaai shouted up.

"Don't touch my cats!! " Kylie said to Jaii

Jaai stared at Kylie and reached her hand back down to touch the cat again. Actually this reminded her of her brother's insistence that she couldn't hold his pig. She withdrew her hand, nodding.
"Uh, okay, sorry."

Laurel paused as she hung upside down. "Couldn't you just ride the mother caracal?"

Erion sighed as he climbed into a tree and swiftly caught up to Laurel. "You should stop, I'm getting dizzy from you hanging upside down." You'd think she would call them caracals at least, not cats...
