Lucifen shrugged, "I'm not sure. The Princess has been absent for a few days, I have no idea what she's up to." She bit her lip nervously, her brow furrowed in thought. Lucifen shoved her feelings of worry away, "I've had plenty of time to myself for the past few days, I think I may go out for a ride today." She quickly glanced out at the countryside, then returned her attention back to Ethan.

Maria had in fact been able to find the library. She was scanning through a book of fairy tales for ones she did not already know. Normally, she wouldn't read a book full of such nonsense, but she liked to tell these kind of stories to the children in the village near the Elyadon castle as it seemed to cheer them up. Glancing at a clock she was surprised by how much time had passed. Maria hurried down the hall back to Serenas room and knocked on the dorr when she arrived. "Your majesty, It's Maria." She said calmly

Serena looked up as she heard Maria knocking on the door and sighed relieved. She could really use some help with her stupid corset. "Come in!" she called towards Maria. "I need some help with my corset..." she added as she heard the door open.

She came inside and walked over to where Serena was. "Of course. They are difficult contraptions are they not?" Maria said with a smile. Her fingers quickly laced up the corset tightly. She had a great deal of experience with them and no longer had much trouble helping nobel women with them. Can you breath alright mam?" She asked sounding a little concerned. It wasn't terribly uncommon for women to faint in corsets .

Serena nodded carefully, sighing softly as she felt the tight corset around her upper body. She hated these things, but didn't complain about it. The only problem was that the corset always gave her enough space to breathe in the beginning, but sometimes it got hard for her to breathe after wearing it for a few hours. The girl had fainted twice because of them, but luckily one of her brothers had always been there to help. Serena brushed some hair out of her face, realizing her proposal with KC would be announced tonight. It would get awkward because of the deal they made, but Serena decided she would play it hard. Kaleb could get what he wanted.

Bird's, or Sparrow's as Cassia tended to call her, mouth hung open slightly at the sign of her closest friend. It had been years since she had seen Cassia, and it seemed that time had changed them both. When Cassia embraced her, it took Bird a moment to react, but after a slight hesitation she hugged her back. When they broke apart, she smiled, studying her old friend's face. "If you think that I've changed then you should look in a mirror!" she said with a wide grin plastered across her face. However, when Cassia asked about her mother, Sparrow's face fell. "Oh, that b*tch left me as soon as she thought I could manage on my own," she said matter-of-factly, tryign to keep any emotion from entering her voice. Then she turned her attention back to Cassia.
"What about you? How did you end up here? And why are you dressed as a nun?" she said, looking Cassia up and down. It was the last place that she expected her childhood friend to end up. When they were young they had talked endlessly about grandeur and adventure, and living in such a quaint little chapel seemed quite the opposite of that. Looking at Cassia's pristine clothing Bird felt oddly out of place. Bird's clothing was frayed and rather dirty from her life out in the forest. The hem of her flowing multilayered skirt was ratty and she felt like she might be shoeing a little too much skin for a church with her shirt that hung in an off-the shoulder fashion. Her hair was still artificially colored with the charcoal, but it was beginning to rub out and reveal it's true colour. "How have you been?"

Ethan smiled. Riding was one of his favourite past times, and even though he'd spend most of the morning exploring the countryside with Areo, he was sure that the large stallion would not mind it if he were to take him out again. "Do you mind if I accompany you?" he asked Lucy, not wanting to assume anything rashly. He wondered how familiar she was with the surrounding areas or horseback riding in general actually. It could be fun to ride with someone else at the moment, something that was completely contrary to what he usually did.
