She gave a bubbly laugh, looking back at Soren. Basil thought his twirl was rather funny. But, she was glad that he was enjoying himself. Basil was having a good time as well, she loved the caves. At Soren's question, she fell just a little quieter, thinking it over. Al that could be heard was the faint roar of the water falls up much farther ahead. Basil didn't really hate the Howlers, she was afraid of them though. "Me too. All this fighting seems a little pointless, doesn't it? " Basil said thoughtfully, " I bet most of us don't even know what we're fighting about anymore.". She smiled, " Yeah, it will be nice to explore! I can't wait to see the forest and all the plants!" Basil gave a bubbly laugh, " Isn't it weird to think that they have plants in the Aboveground that nature Quell didn't just conjure up? From the books I've read, it says that trees take a really long time to grow. " In Solodin, green haired Quell were responsible for growing all the plants. Trees, especially big ones, were very rare.
The caves were peaceful, though they were a bit strange. Colorful gemstones and strange formations of rocks lined the earthen walls of the caves. The bioluminescent mushrooms lit the way to the water fall. But, the strangest thing about the caves was that it seemed to hold a sort of ancient magic. As they walked towards the water fall, there was a barely noticeable, surreal feeling about the caves. A cool breeze blew through the passage way and the now louder roar of the water fall could be heard. Basil shivered inadvertently, looking at the wall of the caves. There was a beautiful, but very old and faded, mural painted on the wall. Suddenly, the passageway opened up, revealing the breath taking water fall.
