The Edge (Sci-Fi; Accepting)

Mei

Mei stood, brushing the plates on her legs with her hand as though the impeccably clean armor was dusty. "Sleep sounds appealing." She said slowly.

Miles

"I hope your beds are comfortable." Miles announced, shaking his head. "I'd hate to find out you sleep on mats on the floor."

Mikaelan

"Sleep on mats on the floor?" Mika shook her head, looking confused. She looks to Vadai as though she might know what the strangers mean.

Vadai thought for a moment realising what Miles ment when he said mats, she laughed softly and smiled, "Oh no no, we sleep on a lyrandi" she watched as some of the guests faces turned to confusion, "it's a cloth that is stretched between two tree branches" She stood up, "I feel it would make more sense showing you guys instead of explaining"

Niami was already half-asleep, her eyes slowly closing as she leaned on the table yawning

Ivy stood up behind the rest of the group. When Vadai described what they used for sleeping she grew worried. She wasn't sure if they would be in rooms, but if they weren't she did know she would have trouble sleeping.

Mei

"Lyrandi?" Mei scrunches her nose slightly at the word. She had already been questioning the Destiree's way of speaking and the fact that they could speak in a language she understood but the odd words they sometimes spoke were nonsensical. She let it slide, though, wanting to see where they would be sleeping more than she was curious about the language.

Miles

Miles stands, his contented smile fading into a sleepy indifference. "Let's just get where we're going. I hate climbing." He passes Niami and pokes her shoulder lightly. "Don't fall asleep yet, I won't be carrying you to your "eyrandit" or whatever it's called." He gives an easy, lopsided smile, and moves to join the others.

Mikaelan

Mika stands and quietly slips out of the room, returning to her clinic high in the trees.

Vadai watched as Mika and Nova slip out, she smiled at them "well if you're ready follow me" she said walking outside to show them to their rooms

Niami grumbled something incoherent and slowly stood up, ready to pass out any moment

Ivy followed behind Vadai, not really paying enough attention to Miles' joking to respond. She was still worrying about the "lyrandi", and about how she would sleep if they were not inside the best.

Mei

Mei follows behind Vadai, fiddling with the strap of her quiver. It feels progressively more uncomfortable the longer she wears it and more than anything she looks forward to taking it off.

Miles

Miles lifts his arms and stretches them, his knuckles brushing the room of the nest. He looks like a large, sleepy child with tired eyes and a worn expression.

Mikaelan

Mika moves into her clinic, checking her now sleeping patients. She sings softly, a silly made up song about the trees and wind. It sounds like a lullaby.

Vadai leads them to their rooms walking into one, "See this is a lyrandi" she says with a small smile

Niami looks at the lyrandi and points at it, "Is this for one of us?" she asked Vafai who nods in reply, Niami nods and jumps onto it falling asleep almost immediately

Ivy laughed at Niami's eagerness to go to sleep. She was glad to learn that they would be sleeping in a room though, because she could pretend that she was still safely on the ground, as long as she didn't look outside.

Mei

Mei shakes her head. "Don't let her near alcohol." She cracks a smile at the thought of the colorful Niami intoxicated. it's an interesting idea, to say the least.

Miles

Miles laughs at Niami's enthusiasm. "Charming girl, wouldn't you say?" He chuckles again, before following Vadai into the next room.

Mikaelan

Mikaelan's lullaby turns to a soft purr-like sound. She's more than happy to be back in her clinic and once she's changed all the bandages she must, she moves to sit on an empty medical lyrandi and crosses her legs under her. The slits in the sides of her robes allow her to sit on half her skirts, the other half laying over her legs modestly.
