Joel pulled his hand back hesitantly, watching Maggie with concern. Even if she didn't want to be touched, he was just happy she was awake.
Mallar stepped forward and slapped Joel's arm away, glowering at him. "I never thought I'd need to remind you that you, Dr. Brooks, are the founder of this lab. If you were to die, then the project would die. Don't touch her." It came out much harsher then she intended, but she wasn't one to beat around the bush.

The scientist turned to look at Tyler with a look of disgust. He was begging. It was pathetic. Hunter would never beg. He'd take charge, make Azusa listen until he was forgiven.
"Open the cell, Tyler." He said in a low voice, glaring fiercely at the prisoner. "You're not the kind of guy to get pushed around. From what I know, anyways. Do I not know everything, Ty? You know all about me." His hands were resting against the bars of the cell now, ready to use force to make Tyler open the door.

Piper pretended not to hear Cleo. She didn't believe it really. Her mom was the same, extremely loving, overprotective, kind, and just plain motherly. But even that didn't stop her from shipping her child to a planet unknown and alone. Piper closed her eyes and shivered with sadness, just wanting to sleep now.

Tyler visibly flinched at the looks Azusa shown to him. He's seen them on countless so faces, countless of times, but this one. It was earth-shattering. "There's alot you don't know Azu..." He said, looking down bitterly. But he wasn't prepared to share such things. He felt like nothing he'd say would be truthful in Azu's eyes, not anymore. With tears falling slowly, Tyler stood slowly, picking the knife up along the way before stepping to the card slot slowly. His eyes were hidden behind his bangs as the knife slid quickly downward and unlocking the door. "I-I wish I could tell you but... You'd never believe me..."

London frowned a little, noting the sudden tension surrounding Chester. Maybe he had sad something wrong? He hoped not. He made a small squeeze as well and made a mental note to ask about it later. "We would find him in the main lab, hopefully. If he was anywhere else then I'm not sure where we'd look."

Melanie watched him stand, eyes on his nose to gauge whether he was ok or not but didn't see much. She was no doctor. She shrugged as he went away and sat down, placing her head on the desk with a heavy sigh. Times like this, she really wished to be in another lab. With nothing to do, she could think, and when she thinks, she remembers just how little she knows about herself. It made her like nothing more than a broken puzzle with only a few pieces fixed together. Those other pieces of hers may never be found...

Azusa was ready to bolt, but that last comment stopped him. "I've believed a lot of crap from you, Ty." He said through gritted teeth. "Go ahead, Faye. Make me stay. Suck it up and talk to me." Admittedly, he didn't want to go. This was not the Tyler he knew or learned to love. The Tyler he loved comforted him. Asserted his dominance. Wouldn't take crap from anyone.
"Hunter would."
Perhaps that was pushing it. But that's what the prisoner seemed to need- a little push.

Tyler thought about it but he couldn't bring himself to say it. He shook his head, unable to form the words. But the last comment giving made him bite his lip in both anger and jealous. Of course, the guy had everything he didn't have, like the mental state to happily speak of the past. He was the one Azusa liked the most. But Tyler wanted to be better. So he had only one option. A shaky sighescaped his lips as he walked away from Azusa and sat in the farther corner then brought his knees to his chest. Another shaky sigh and Tyler finally looked up at Azusa, eyes dull and lifeless. "I was thrown our by my father after a week of birth. He blamed me for the death of my mother who died during labor. I don't know him or her, never met them, but he left a hate-filled message for me that was given once I was of age to comprehend it. Who cares about that though... Tyler said, looking like a bitter empty shell as he kept his dead gaze on the scientist. "As I said, I was adopted into a loving home, gaining a mother, mother, and a brother all at once. His name was Nicholas Faye... Nick for short." A visible show of fear in Tyler's eyes made him stop for a moment, trying to steady himself and stop the sudden shivers traveling through him.

Maggie's eyes were tightly closed. At least Ms mallar had explained it to him... though she herself wouldn't have been so harsh. But on the bright side, coal wasn't touching her anymore, and hopefully for the time being he was safe. The girl just lay on the table, eyes closed and looking half dead (though she didn't intend to). Her body just wanted to rest after all of that, and not have to worry about people staring at her as she slept...

"Don't go too fast!" He squeaked softly before trying to follow at the same speed
It was very hard without his crutches.. But he knew he had to ditch them in order to work
Stumbling and staggering, his legs did not help as he finally fell hard to the ground

His eyes raised and he turned while putting down the ice bag
Being blind in one eye sucked.. So did his depth perception
Being deaf in the same ear did too..
But yet his other ear caught most things people didn't
And he walked off towards Melanie, passing her and coming up to a nearby table with a monitor on it
His back faced her as he tapped on it a few times and terror ran down his spine
"Gott im Himmel.." He huffed to himself before taking a step back

Joel glared sharply at the doctor, but he was the one who faltered. It was true. A lot of people depended on him, why let all of them down for one assistant? He watched her sadly for a moment, then shuffled away.
"We'll see how she is. Then we'll send her to you if she's doing fine." Mallar said simply. "Joel. Don't let this distract you." The founder nodded dumbly and shuffled out of the room, leaving Maggie alone with Mallar- who proceeded to prod her and stick her with needles.

Azusa had settled himself against the bars, his shoulder ladies pressing uncomfortable against the metal. That didn't sound like a tragedy to him. If anything, it sounded like Ty should be a happy, mentally stable man about now. "What are you trying to prove, exactly? You did sleep with another man, is this an excuse?" The scientist was staring back at Ty with an equally dull expression.
He noted how the name Nicholas Faye had some sort of negative effect on Tyler. "Nicholas Faye." He repeated quietly, all the while looking him dead in the eye.
"That sounds great. You got adopted by a nice family, away from a father who, unfortunately, wanted nothing to do with you. S' happened before. No excuse for cheating." He said bitterly. But if Tyler did have a point, he wanted to hear it. So Azu stayed put.

Maggie winced each time the doctor stuck her with a needle. She wanted Joel here with her, at least having him in the room made her feel a bit more comfortable. But then again, she wasn't worth his time. Just as mallard had said, he couldn't get distracted because of her. So, she let Mallar poke and prod her, not caring if it hurt. Just as long as Joel didn't get hurt.

Tyler chose to ignore it and continue on. Of course Azusa wouldn't understand without the whole story. The sooner it came out the better. "I was 7, Nick was younger than me by roughly 5 months but also 7, though I don't really know my date of birth so I can't really say. He was shy, quiet and kind. I loved him as a brother should and grew attached as if we were born together." He said, smiling only the slightest at the only good memory. "We had only been together for a few months before the madness that was Nicholas, the real Nicholas, began to show. He had just turned 8 and we we celebrating his birthday with a party his parents threw for him when we snuck back to our room. It was there Nick told me that he loved me. More than brothers should. I didn't really know what that meant but I knew it was wrong so I flat out rejected him.... he didn't like that..." He said, looking down into his lap, shivering. From there Tyler spoke on to what happened next and to what he dealt with everyday for the next two years. He had tears rolling down his face but he help back his sobs. Hunter wouldn't cry like that would he? Thus Tyler tried not to. He stopped speaking to look into his lap again, silence filling the cell. "It was painful..." He said after a moment. "My childhood. My innocence. Snatched from me and shredded to pieces. I was completely at his mercy and he reminded me of that every chance he got..."

Melanie had ignored Josef's presence for the time, only because she didn't want to waste energy with trying. She kept her head on the desk with her blue eyes shut, only making sounds from her soft breathing. In a sense, she was sleeping, but she was still very much aware of the world around her. So when Josef spoke, her head was already lifted and gazing at his back in it's normal stoic way. "What?" She questioned boredly.

"Did anyvon give Richtofen paint?" he asked
and moved to the side to show the monitor screen
And on the screen, was a feed of Edward Richtofen's cell
Who had found a way to cut himself open, and to use the blood to draw strange symbols on the ground, and on the glass windows
He was acting strange..
