Dawn rose on one of the first warm days of the coming spring. While the snow had melted a while ago, this was the first day where it was actually warm. No chill in the air.

Alex and Obinni had been awake for a while. Sitting together on the porch in silence, Obinni absently kicking her feet and picking at little splinters of the wood making up the porch.

In contrast, Jet was just waking up, along with the rising of the sun. He quietly pulled his hair back into a ponytail and grabbed his swords, and headed out, only accidentally waking Issac up when he opened and closed the door. Issac shifted and slowly sat up. only seeing the door close. He then sighed and stretched.

As the light reached Jo, she woke up. She sat up and stretched, joints popping, and with squinted eyes. She heavily considered laying back down and going back to sleep, but no. Staying in one spot too long was bad, easier to be caught that way. She climbed up to her feet, stretching once more and waking herself up. The events from yesterday came flooding back to her. ‘Oh, yeah.’

After making sure she had everything and taking care not to leave a trace, she sped off back towards the town, to the Inn.

When they woke up, every small miscellaneous item in the hotel room was gone. Shampoos, tea bags, toilet paper, and even shower curtain rings.

Ceph was already dressed, but still held onto his pillow.

“Mornin’.”

Roxy had also been awake for some time, though she was still in the same seat she'd fallen asleep in. She'd taken a brief moment to go up to the room that was technically hers and get her few meager possessions together, which now sat in a small pack beside her, but beyond that she'd simply been observing the inn come to life. It was how she started most mornings. And most other times of the day. She didn't get out much.

Issac looked over at the young boy. "It's a pleasant one, isn't it?" He asked with a nod of acknowledgement, as he stood and headed towards the bathroom, he looked around and saw... Just about everything... Was missing. He blinked a few times, his mind whirling. "U-Uh... Cephas?" he asked, his eyes flickering pink for a moment, despite not actually being able to look at the past and see what happened. "Do... You know where.. All the... Just.. Everything.. Went?"

Alex glanced up and straightened as she saw Jo approach. "HI JO!" Obinni called, waving happily, eyes shining. Alex, who had had her arms wrapped around her bent knees, let go, and relaxed her posture. "How'd you sleep?" she asked casually.

Jet saw Roxy sitting in the chair. He was assuming she was asleep, until he saw her move. 'Oh! She's awake' He turned, and smiled at her, giving a slight wave. He made his way over, one of his swords being used as a type of walking stick, swaying lightly just above the ground as he walked, until he stood near her "G'mornin' Roxy. Hope you slept well in that chair... Do you want to go get some breakfast before we get going?" He wanted to take some time 1 on 1 with her to try and befriend her. He'd rather befriend her than let any adversity between her and the group last.

Cephas looked back like he was surprised.

“What? No.”

He held his pillowcase tight and started heading out the door. “Meet me when y’all are ready to head out.”


As he passed Jo and the girls, he waved. “G’mornin.”

He skipped out toward the inn’s exit, planning to find a nearby pawn shop.

“Oh! G’mornin, you two!” She replied happily. “I slept fine, how about you, Obinni?” Jo had never particularly been a morning person, but once she was really awake, she was up and at ‘em. “Did you sleep good as well, Alex?”

Obinni shrugged. "I slept ok." Alex glanced at her for a moment, kinda hunching her shoulders. "It was alright. Long day." She stood, and was about to speak, when Ceph suddenly sped walked past her. "HEY CEPH! Mornin'!" Obinni called. Just for suddenly a somewhat cage of Ice to form and encircle Ceph. Alex blinked in surprise, just in time to see Issac, eyes flickering between Lavender and Pink as he used both his abilities at once, shoulders hunched and face scrunched in frustration as he marched right past Alex. She saw he was still in his sleepwear as well. "Issac..?" "CEPHAS! Don't run away from me! These people have been nothing but nice to us!! Return everything you stole! RIGHT NOW! You are NOT selling it!" Obinni cowered away from the aggressive scolding tone in her father's voice that she up until now, had only ever heard him use on her. Alex couldn't help but snicker, once she realized what was happening, even despite her efforts to try and keep a serious expression, the sight was just too amusing. "Cephas..? Did you... Take something?" Obinni sounded a bit hurt as she watched Issac approach the cage teen from where she stood next to Jo.

"Not hungry," Roxy said, looking past Jet at the others descending the stairs. One figure in particular caught her eye, the one with a suspiciously bulging pillowcase.

"One sec," Roxy said, standing up, "I haven't quit just yet." The fighter's fist rose, even with her shoulder, as she slid her right foot back, her left arm held out in front of her, forearm parallel to thr ground. When she next spoke, her voice was several decibels louder, with an echo that the main lobby wasn't big enough for.

"SPARK FIST!"

The crackle of electricity and the smell of ozone filled the air as Roxy dashed across the room, her fist ablaze with lightning. She didn't hit Cephas, she rarely actually hit patrons with her attacks, but the sudden appearance of an angry woman with a galvanized fist in the doorway was usually a pretty good deterrent. "I think you have some things that don't belong to you," she said menacingly, "you should probably put them back where you found them."
