Wheels squeaking to a sudden stop, Veronica reached the entrance of the forest. "Perfect," she said to herself in admiration of the beauties the forest beholds. Parking her car on the side of the dirt road, she grabbed her large hiking bag and started heading towards the Selcouth Forest. "Okay, I have everything I need. I guess here's to the beginning of the one week hike through the so called cursed forest." After reassuring herself she began marching through the entrance, feeling a strange vibe once she passed through. Although she surely wasn't scared of the legends about this place, something still felt... out of place. Shrugging it off, she continued hiking through.

Persephone smiled and replied, " It really is, Austin. " She ran a hand though her hair and relaxed contently. Persephone noticed that he was letting his legs soak in the water. She thought subconsciously, " I wonder if he is going to the tree and sleep. "

Salazar nods and went into the direction of the scent of the puma. He saw it totally oblivious to its surroundings as it was eating. Salazar quietly came around the right side and jestered for her to take the left. He edventually was in striking distance. Salazar's lust for blood was nagging at him by the point.

He yawned a bit, looking at the sky. "Wanna see me set up the hammock?" But he was already getting up on his feet, and opening his bag. He took out a cloth that was wrapped up in string. It was a dark brown cloth, not very appealing to the eyes. He unfolded it and it was surprisenly long.

Sights set, head down and fists out he sat ready to strike
Then the moment came, and he let out a noise before moving forwards so quickly and lifting his fist right into his attack
He did it again and again, sights set low and fists high while he worked
And soon enough he let out a shout before the punching bag he had been punching snapped off of the tree and fell to the ground some meters away
Sitting there huffing, he sighed before moving to grab another, and to start climbing the tree in order to find a new branch to hang it on
Since the branch had also flew off with his workout session

He was sitting on the porch of their cabin they had built so long ago, rocking back and forth on a chair while sipping at warm tea
Of course, if he could control it, he would have been drinking coffee with slippers on his feet and a warm bath every once in a while
Though sadly, that was not the case here.. and they sort of had to deal with having no hot baths for a while
He flinched when a loud snap echoed through the area, and glanced over to see Jane moving to grab another punching bag
He had snapped every limb close to the ground.. and soon enough went for more
Shaking his head and silently telling himself that the tree would be nothing but a stick if he kept going up, he ignored the fact and turned back
Wondering about the others he had seen in the forest, and thought about going out later to see them

Persephone answered," Sure, why not, Austin. " Her gaze shifted from him to the tree. Persephone watched him set it up.

He grabbed the hammock's rope in his mouth and his arms flapped, the gust actually messed her hair up. His wings flapped a bit loudly as he lifted himself into the tree. His feet caught on a limb. He nailed one side of the tree with a large nail, then looped one side of the hammock. Then he flew to the tree closest and checked the distance quickly before nailing it and looped it. He checked the ropes real quick before he smiled down at her. "Nice and easy." Then he landed into the hammock with full confidence.

Persephone watched him set up the hammack. She smirks as she felt the gust from his wings messed up her hair up a bit. Persephone stated, " That is awesome, Austin." She sighed as she couldn't get up the tree , unless if he did lift her up.Persephone smiled and thought, " He probably would, since she and him were friends. "

He crawled out, nearly falling, and landed next to her, his feathers brushing her a bit. "Pretty cool, huh?" He pants a bit, squinting up st the tree where it was then smiling to her. But he was trying to think if he could get her up somehow, but he needed both wing to get up, since they were his arms... "piggyback ride?" He blurted out loud, instead of his mind.

Persephone smiled and stated, " Why not, Austin. " She was hesitant about going up the tree but it might not be as bad as it looked. Persephone braced herself for him to take her up the tree.

He held in his breathe but kneeled down so she can wrap herself around him. His cheeks went a bit red. The last time someone had wrapped their arms around him, they were trying to strangle him. He began to flap his wings, careful to not scare her. It was probably her first time up a tree... strange world.
