"I'm too tired for this. She's Skylar. She likes to chastise me. I'm going home. I don't want to be here." Felix's voice had gone from it's usual upbeat to a weary tone.

finny //
Finny made a sort of choked laughing sound at Clara's comments. "She's cruel. So am I. Don't be dead." Despite the smile on her face at the fact that Jace was out of the pool, her voice was nervous and shaky. "Mmmm..."

Clara&Theo //
"Guessing that means you don't need... you know." Clara sighed and stood up. "Look, we better go outside. Finny, I may need some help here." Clara hauled Jace to his feet, letting him lean on her. She brushed past couples dancing and other party goers, and almost ran into a boy clutching... paper cat heads?
"Hello!" he said. "You're Clara, right?"
Clara sighed. "Yes, I am. Theo, if I'm not mistaken. We're just leaving." She gave the semi-conscious boy a meaningful glance and kept walking.
Theo turned to Felix. "That's not your mystery crush, is it? She seems pretty cool."

Skylar
[i[ Oh, yeah, just ignore me.[/i] She thought as she bumped into Stiles.

Stiles
He walked through the crowd and bumped into Skylar. " Sorry!" He said as he noticed Jace." I'm not gonna ask."

felix //
Felix opened his mouth slightly and stared at Clara and then back at Theo before nodding slightly. "Yeah." He whispered. "Yeah."

finny //
Finny attempted to help support Jace. "I'm too short. You two are five bajillion feet tall. It's unfair."

Theo //
He broke into a grin. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go offer her some help to carry the dead body or whatever like the chivalrous knight you are!" Theo gave him a push.

Clara //
"Not really," she laughed. Grimly, Clara, Finny and half-dead Jace made it out of the mansion. Clara laid Jace on some grass a fair distance away. She groaned, stretching her arms. "If I ever get my hands on Kyle, he's not going to remain in one piece for long. Jace, what do you need?"

finny //
"I'll be there before you. I'm beating that kid up as soon as Jace is okay." Finny cracked her knuckles and sat next to Jace.

felix //
"I'm not a knight. At all. I'm the anti-thesis of a knight. Not a dragon, mind you. That would be cool. But no." Felix stared at one of the cat heads in his hands.

Jace & Kyle; 16; Kyle's house ; Finny & Clara
Jace coughed up water and struggled to stay fully conscious due to the pain in his stomach. "C-carful...." He managed to mumble to Clara, worried that his unstable body heat would burn her as she carried him. When they laid him in the grass he choked up more water and refrained himself from practically puking. "I don't know. I've never been sick like this before." He groaned.

Clara //
She quickly withdrew her hand; Clara could feel the heat radiating from him. "What the heck did he do? I've never seen that before," mused Clara.

Theo //
"Dragon or knight, I will carry you over there if I have to." Theo grinned devilishly at Felix. "You are talking to her if it's the last thing we ever do."

finny //
"Jace! Okay, you're not dead. Thank god." Finny backed a few feet away from him. "Don't start vomiting. Do you want...an ice pack or something?"

felix //
"She's busy saving her friend or something! Holy crap, what happened to him? Never mind." Felix looked back at Clara and then turned back to Theo.

"C'mon, honestly. You like her, right? I don't know much about relationships but I do know that nothing will ever happen if they don't realize that you exist."
