Cecelia felt her cheeks flush a little with anger, her eyes narrowing. "Excuse me? You dare speak to me in such a way, you foolish commoner?" She growled angrily. "Maybe it's you who ought to be on a leash, you moronic knit wit!" She spat her words like poison, chin held high and eyes cold with fury. There was nothing that she hated more than others talking down to her, or even on level with her for that matter. Only the people whom were actually on her level or higher were allowed to do that, and there were very few of those. He most certainly was not one of them.

Cecilia, being a girl of the same status, perked Genevieve Elaine Festrine's interest. Moving a long strand of hair behind her ear, Genevieve walked towards the blonde girl. As she neared Cecilia, Genevieve noticed her fierce expression. She followed the younger girl's gaze to a male wearing an apprentice's uniform. He was angrily muttering something, and Cecilia's expression became darker. Sensing something serious was going on, Genevieve hurried over.

"What's going on here?" she asked, defensively putting a hand on her cousin's shoulder.

Cecelia froze, her jaw dropping a moment in utter shock, completely ignoring the hand on her shoulder for the moment. Sensing her master was not happy, Lil flew from her arms, gently lowering herself to the floor and looking up with a soft whimper. The dog's whimpering seemed to break her from her shock, and Cecelia's face contorted with anger. Stepping forward, she shot out her hand, slapping him clean across the face and resulting in a loud, clear sound echoing down the hall. "You insulate commoner! How- how dare you!" She screamed, her entire face red with anger and blond hair falling over her shoulders from the movement.

Aston jumped upon hearing a loud sound, almost like a slamming but more high pitched. What was that? Stepping away from the window, he looked up and down the hall, searching for the source of the sound, but couldn't seem to spot it admits all the people.

Genevieve sighed, a grim expression on her face. She hadn't wanted to get a bad impression on the first day here, but it she simply couldn't abandon her cousin. Torn between maintaining a good impression and helping out a fellow member of the royal family, she thought about how to act.

She lightly tapped Cecilia's hand. "That's enough," she said quietly. "There's no need to go to such lengths for someone of that caliber." Taking her hand, she walked away at a brisk pace without turning back.

As a sharp hand was brought across his face his eyes widened and the low rumble in his throat turned into a small gasp as the contact was made. Placing a hand on his cheek where she had hit him, he looked up at her with his blue eyes, tears pricking up at the edges of them then he lets out a louder growl as tears began to fall. Rusty, after Shen had gotten a clean snap across the face, was curled around his legs, glaring.

Cecelia shrieked as she was suddenly pulled away, about ready to yell at this new person when she saw who it was. "Genevieve?" She asked, mildly surprised to see her royal cousin. "What ever are you doing?" She wanted to go back and teach that moronic fool a lesson, but then looking back at him, seeing the tears pricking in his eyes, she actually felt kind of bad. Ew, what a gross feeling. She scowled lightly at herself, then looked down to make sure that Lil was following. She was. Of course she was. She always did.

Alright, Cecelia did have to admit to herself that perhaps she had reacted a little to course ly, and she was a little ashamed of her actions. Just a bit. "Sorry, but you know how much I hate to be spoken down to. I can't help but react," she huffed, garnering back whatever strands of definite she had managed to retain. "I will try harder in the future to withdraw." 'Maybe.'
