Glancing up Eden watched as Xavier stayed motionless up in the air. Satisfied that nothing was going to happen she let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding and placed her ear buds back in her ears as she continued the walk home. It would take a while to reach where she was going since the library wasn't really in close walking distance to her house but she would manage.

Seeing the girl walking away, Xavier snapped form his daze, shaking his head violently to rid it of spaciness before quickly flipping down so he floated barely a foot in front of her. Zeke inhaled again and looked at the woman in front of him. He blew the smoke in her direction with a jaded face and said, "I'll end up dead eventually." He flicked the ash off the end of the cigarette and raised it once againto his lips. "It's part of the human condition," he inhaled again, looking at her with that same look on his face.

I have to admit I was surprised by his blatantness. Not maybe humans were willing to stare death straight in the face and then taunt it by doing extreme sports or smoking a cigarette. "I suppose it is..." I replied. Although I've never understood it.

The boy shifted his weight onto his right leg as he pulled the left one up and rested it on the wall behind him, not taking his eyes off of her. "What brings you to this neckof the woods?" He mused, playing with the half of his cigarette that still remained. He bit his lip ring lightly as he waited for her to answer him, unphased by the strangeness of their encounter.

Jay laughed and shook his head. "The way I see it all dark angels are basically family," he told her.

She smiled. "Well its actually pretty nice to meet someone like you- Ive never really met nor talked to any of the others." She frowned slightly. "Everyone has their thoughts about others sometimes, so I guess I never really wanted to talk to them."

I shrugged. "I suppose I'm just wandering..." I said quietly as I studied him. It amazed me how unphased he seemed. Most other humans would be suspicious of another person seeming materializing out of thin air. "What about you? If you don't mind me asking."

He lifted the cigarette to his lips, and took another puff as he pointed to a duffle bag sitting at his feet next to a pile of flattened cardboard boxes. He exhaled once more before dropping the cigarette butte and stepped on it with his left foot. "I live here," he said curtly. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and shrugged his shoulders. "It's more comfortable out here. Peaceful."

He still found it odd how comfortable this human seemed around him, but in a way it was refreshing. It could get old talking only to other dark Angels. Most of them, like him, we're just dark and not the type of person you really wanted to spend too much time around. Then there was Xavier who was just a flat out moron with way too much energy. Even the thought of dealing with the childish angel gave him a headache. "Were you supposed to be going somewhere?" He asked, realizing that this human- er, Skye - had been going somewhere and must have had a destination.

'' it's quieter here, calmer. i rather be outside than at home.'' he did want to sleep, but he didn't wan to leave Ross. he didn't want to lose the opritunity to talk to someone who was so interesting.
