Gabriel frowned, but agreed with a solemn nod. "When your done with those could you make some toast?" He asked Kurtis.

"Yeah dad, course." he said and flipped the eggs before going and getting some bread, buttering it and putting into a different pan since they didn' t have any toasters back then.

~Millicent~

Millicent awoke in her royal chamber calmly like every morning, pulled back the pitch black canopy over her bed, and stood up on the cold dark floor. She walked to the window in her dark violet nightgown which rippled in the light breeze. She saw the dark clouds that always hovered over her castle thanks to her own magic, and smiled her cruel smirk. She loved seeing the storm clouds every morning, and every day they seemed to grow darker as her own castle's power grew stronger. She gazed out the window, looking intimidatingly beautiful in the dark morning light to anyone who would happen to be looking in the direction of her window. She would wait there until one of her servants came to help her get ready for the day or her family came to fetch her.

~Narcissus~

Narcissus woke shortly after the princess did in his special stable down in the gardens. The gardens were dark and wilted, with a few dark gnarled rose bushes here and there, but Narcissus didn't mind it one bit. He enjoyed the company of all the dead leaves and foliage, and as long as he was near the royal family he was content to be in his own luxurious stable, which had a feel of beautiful darkness about it, and in the corner rested a magic mirror that the princess had given to him, both to see his own beloved reflection whenever he desired, and to have a way to see the royal family whenever he wished as well. As he woke and shook his mane restlessly, Narcissus whinied softly and looked in the ornate mirror, which looked as if it were made from polished obsidian, and admired his reflection. He was looking as deadly handsome as always, and he was content knowing that.

~Anabelle~

Anabelle woke up in her servant's quarters, as she always did, and immediately got up and began making her bed and getting ready for the day. She changed from her sleeping gown to her only nice gown, which was a light powdery blue and she wore every day (except when it was being washed). She quickly brushed her hair and rushed out to begin her daily chores for the day. As she walked outside, she noticed it seemed to be a lovely day out today. In the distance she could see the dark clouds that always seemed to loom over the far away Dark castle, but she didn't want to let them bother her today, and so she decided to ignore them as she continued on her way to do her work in the Light castle, which was much brighter and happier.

[Which of the royals should she be in charge of helping? Or should she do something else? I don't really care what she does. :3]

~Cedar~

Cedar often woke up before the rest of the Light castle, due to the fact that he both went to sleep earlier and didn't need as much sleep as regular humans or even most normal horses. He was bright and chipper in the early hours of the morning. But as dawn began to break and the castle began to stir, he flapped his wings lightly as he trotted along the wall of the castle. He could sense the people inside the walls waking up and getting ready for their day.

He put the toast on a plate and then put the egg on top of it. He had cooked about twelve plates up already. He loved to cook. He even squeezed fresh orange juice into glasses. He called to his servents, but knowing his good friend Annabell, She would eat last. But, He always did best for last.

~Anabelle~

Anabelle came into the kitchen to begin her morning chores of helping feed the castle breakfast. She walked in to find the Prince making food. It wasn't completely out of the ordinary, but she always told him he didn't need to bother with the food,and that that should be something the servants did for him. She bowed when she saw him, and smiled to her master and friend politely, "Hello, your highness." She said brightly, "Good morning."


[Nothing big, everyone's just waking up and getting started with their day. Most people are just getting up and begining their daily duties I think]

"Good morning Anabelle!" He said with a smile and cooked up three eggs for her with buttered toast and a sausage patty. He walked twords her and handed her the plate and am orange juice. "Here you are! " He locked his eyes with hers and blushed slightly but not enough to show.

Anabelle smiled shyly at him when their eyes locked, "Thank you, your highness. But you know, you really don't have to do that." She said politely, and took the food from him. She took a seat at the kitchen counter where most of the servants would sit to eat and watched him finish making the food. She gracefully began eating her food.
