Tristan continued to send apologetic looks at both the maid and his brother. He hadn't felt such embarrassment in such a while. The presence of the pretty servant probably intensified the feeling, but he was also flustered because while he usually knew exactly what to do, he was flapping about now and Nick was taking over. He was grateful for his help, but it made him look even more of a fool. At Nick's quiet intel, the prince nodded and continued swiping up the floor. After Nick exited the kitchen, Tristan dropped yet another rag into the maid's hands and gave her a sheepish grin. "Sorry about that again. I-I have to go, um. Bye." he quickly excused himself with a blush and slipped out of the kitchen, making his way back to the guest suites. The prince entered his room and quietly shut the door behind him. He crossed the room and pulled away the curtain, weak light filtering in through the glass windows. A maid. Quite similar to Alexander's situation. The maid Tristan had met was prettier in his opinion, but that was hardly an excuse to have an affair with her. He could, of course, pull a princely one-nighter with the servant, but that wasn't something he would or could do. Prince Kaleb was the famous ladies man, Tristan couldn't start going down that path. He was the quiet, yet responsible prince. Far from KC's traits.
He looked up from the green scene outside his window at knocking. That would be Nick. Tristan crossed the room and opened the door to his brother, hair slightly damp from his bath. "Come in." He quickly closed the door behind his brother and pulled out a chair from the ornate table in front of the windows. "So what is your urgent news, Nick?" he asked, motioning for him to sit. He sat on the chair across from him and fidgeted with his hands in his lap. He prayed his brother wouldn't bring up what had happened in the kitchen. It had been awkward enough.

Kaleb smiled sweetly at his fiance, nodding at all her future propositions. She sounded happy now, planning their children's childhood. Her smile seemed a bit more alive, and her eyes a bit more vivid. "You know, the wedding's only two months away. We'd better start planning who's going to be our honorary maidens and men. Let's see, tradition says the limit is five people each. Who are you going to pick?" he asked, mentally making a list of his own. He automatically crossed off Alexander's name. There wasn't any chance of him redeeming himself in such a short amount of time anyway.

Nick stepped into Tristan's room as his brother swung open the door to let him in. He nodded at his brother and sat on the chair offered. Nick looked at Tristan before saying anything. His elder brother seemed to be less composed today and appeared to be a bit restless. Frowning, Nick chose his words carefully as he spoke.
"There's quite a few things I would uh... like to discuss with you Tristan. Two important issues and a third that seems to interest and confuse me greatly." Pausing, he turned to look at the fire, dancing brightly in the fireplace. A spark flew out and landed on the tiles surrounding the fireplace. The little red dot standing out against the black tiles before cooling down and fading away, as if it were just another part of the tile. "It seems like quite a bit may have happened during the time I was away. Now, I should probably explain what happened to me.

"It was about noon when I left the palace. I was quite curious to see what the Avalon markets were like. Deep in thought, I didn't realise before it was too late that I had entered an alley that was slightly more desolate than the others. The stalls looked a bit more... suspicious." Nick turned back to look at Tristan, straight in the eye. "I didn't want to get into any fights or trouble here, so I decided to turn around before I ventured any further down the alley, but a huge man stopped me. I was quite foolish, not bringing a guard with me, or even a sword, having left mine in the guest room here. It was no use running away, as this isn't Elyadon, it's Avalon, a city I don't know very well. In my attempt, I soon found myself trapped, my back against a brick wall. The man asked me if I was aprince, his knife against my throat, and what could I do? I replied yes and then he hit me, and everything blacked out. Now who was this man? How did he know me? As you saw me in the kitchen, I wasn't wearing my finest clothes, except I didn't have that rough cloak around me just yet. I've been thinking about it, and he very well might be working in partnership with those that killed Aiden." Nick said the last part slowly and then stopped. He would allow Tristan some time to sink in what he had just said before continuing his story.

She steals tons of stuff, but for good use. Like Robin Hood. She eve can escape the best of gaurds with no weapons, that is what makes Korra "slippery" To catch. She is wanted, but that is easy. What she doesn't get is that they make her look stupid in the pictures. Nothing like her! She lives anywhere, running from guards constantly. So let's just say a lot of royals and marketers don't like her.

Tristan leaned forward in his chair, frowning and fingering the grooves in the table. "You were kidnapped?" he asked, after Nick finished speaking. "And I hadn't even noticed, or even asked around if anyone had seen him. What's wrong with me today?" He had not been as cautious as he usually was. He had spilt a bowl of soup on a servant, hadn't been able to successfully clean it up, wasn't aware that his brother had been kidnapped.. "So you're saying the men that killed Aiden were in league with whoever kidnapped you? But why would they kill him and not kill you? Can you describe the man that took you?" He stopped the questions after realizing he had too many. What would stop the rebels from going after all of them? What if that was their plan? What if they wanted to exterminate the whole royal family? How many of them are there?

Serena bit her lip at Kaleb's question, a small frown crossing her face as she thought. "I'm not quite sure yet. Five is quite a lot. I know I will pick Arabella for sure. She is my sister, and she would be angry with me if I let her out." Serena said. "And I don't want to ask people who don't want to be it, so I'm doubting a lot about those things." she added quietly. Maybe she would ask her brothers as well, but she knew there was a chance they wouldn't want to. Serena rested her head against Kaleb, looking at his hands. "Who will you pick?"

Fey blushed a bit at her sudden realization that she had forgotten his breakfast, "Oh, its fine Miss Grace." He mumbled, gazing down at the floor. The other maids and servants scuttled past him, holding plates of pastries and fruit as they headed to the main dining room. Whether or not the Royals ate breakfast was up to them, though it would most likely not be a family affair considering the disastrous dinner they had last night. Fey looked around for Maria, trying to spot the maid amongst the others.

She wove through the other servants feeling extremely annoyed with herself. She really was off her game today and that was completely unacceptable. Maria suddenly had the frightening thought that Fey might complain about her incompetence and she would be punished, or worse, fired. Fey seemed to nice to do such a thing but she still was worried. The maid would have to give him her best treatment. She reached the tray that she had previously brought him and decided that the food was to cold now and fetched him some more, along with some fresh bread and more mead. Maria then hurried back to the Knight, thankful that the crowd had died down a little. She gave him a nervous smile as she walked up to him. "My deepest apologies sir.If there is anything else that I could assist you with, please don't hesitate to ask." Maria said earnestly

Fey gratefully took the tray from her, the delicious scents of fresh, hot breakfast filling the air. He smiled, "Thank you very much Miss Grace, and I do have one more favor to ask you," He said, pausing to think. Fey desperately wanted to ask the young maid to have breakfast with him, but he didn't want to make her feel awkward, considering everything that had happened previously. Plus, she seemed to be needed around the kitchens and was probably already busy working. Deciding that it didn't really matter, Fey asked Maria anyways, "Would you care to have breakfast with me in the East Courtyard?"

{@WoldieBlackheart, by 'town' which town do you mean? Majority, if not all, of the characters are all at Avalon at the moment as quite a few events have occurred there. If you would like to have your character make her way there, you should be able to find someone who has a character free to roleplay with.
