Devin took a deep breath as soon as he woke up, feeling slightly dizzy. He squinted open his eyes and let out a yawn, stretching his legs against his will. Beams of light hit the dark wall opposite to him from the slits between his shades, and it hurt to look at. He really didn't feel like moving. He was pretty sore due to the poor quality of his bed and just about everything on it. He laid motionless for a good extra five minutes or so before he forced himself to sit up on the edge of his bed. One hellish step closer; he was almost there. He crossed his arms and glanced around at his room. It wasn't anything special to look at, just dark shades of brown and piles of dirty clothes everywhere. There was nothing new about that. He scooted off of the bed and onto his feet, rubbing at his eyes to try and clear up the blur in his vision. He walked slowly over to his dresser and rummaged through the drawers until he came across the light blue sweater that he was in love with (no matter the weather, really) and a pair of ordinary looking pants. He slipped those on lazily before stumbling out into the living room to sit on the couch. He was already bored out of his mind, but there wasn't much he could do about that.

Maggie sighed and straightened herself, stretching to her full length, which wasn't much. She realized that she had forgotten to put any makeup on and laughed quietly to herself as she slipped into the bathroom, exiting it within ten minutes with simple eye makeup. Then she grabbed a simple granola bar for breakfast and snagged her keys off the peg above her kitchen sink. Maggie sighed and exited her apartment, shutting the door behind her, locking it quickly before walking down the halls and trotting down the stairs. She was now in the main lobby, which she quickly crossed to exit the building. She stopped outside and thought for a moment about what she should do.

Felix impatiently waited outside of Devin's House wondering how lazy this human was. "Why it's he out," she hissed softly jumping up and down like an angered kid. She was half tempted to rush in there herself and get him, but the angel of course would stop her. She could be totally sleeping right now, but no she had a job to do. What was this job you asked well make chaos in this human life and of course get all the catnip in the world.

Victoria looked at the Lilith with a glare then said,"Don't you dare try anything with this human." Luckily she had already done her job today as she had arrived before the demon could or who knows what could of happened. She too was getting a bit impatient to see when this human would get out of his living place, but she didn't show it. Angel had to be proper all the time plus the guy must just be taking a lot of time to get ready or is still sleeping.

Devin became absorbed by his thoughts for quite some time, and ended up staring blankly at the wall. When he finally came back to Earth and realized that he was doing absolutely nothing entertaining or productive, he decided that he would take a walk to the park that was a short distance from his house. He reluctantly stood back up off of the couch and headed to the bathroom to comb his hair and brush his teeth. He felt like he looked half dead, but he didn't really care. It wasn't as if he had anyone to impress. He shoved his hands in his pockets and started off towards the front door of his home. It felt pretty humid out, and it hit him hard as soon as he stepped outside. He scrunched up his face a bit, displeased with how bright it was out here.

Flynn was leaning casually against the brick wall of the apartment his human was currently living at, not even glancing at the angel, Samuel, who he would be competing with. His expression stayed neutral, neither seeming angered or excited. However, although he was like that on the outside, he couldn't help but feel a little bit excited to start working, his demon side bursting with joy at the thought of winning over his human. His body was concealed to everyone but Samuel at the moment, and soon, his human. If he recalled correctly, her name was Magdalene Farlander, but preferred to go by "Maggie". In this case, he would call her by her nickname to please her, as it wouldn't do him any good to upset or anger her in any way. And, as much as he loved to frustrate others, he just couldn't do so with the one he was going to try to convert. A few minutes later, when he was actually about to comment on the amount of time it was taking for Maggie to show up, she just so happened to walk out of the apartment. Wonderful, he thought, the corners of his lips pulling up into a tiny grin. Just then, he let himself be seen by her, and pulled himself away from the wall to stand up straight. "Hello there..." he started, waiting eagerly for a reaction.

Caspar woke up to the sound of his alarm clock going off, the tunes of one of his favorite songs never failing to wake him up in a good mood. He yawned, stretching his arm out to hit the 'off' button on the clock, then stretched them both out. He sat up, the blanket falling from his chest, and the boy stretched out the rest of his body in attempt to get rid of all the kinks and sore spots. No doubt, as he crossed the distance to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, his hair was as messy as it usually was in the morning. He chuckled a little, finding his look to be quite funny. Throughout the rest of his morning he went through his normal routine of showering, getting dressed, brushing his teeth, taking care of his hair, etcetera. He didn't have much to do today other then go out to buy some more milk, since he ran out a few days ago and was dying to have some tea again. So, after a small breakfast of toast and bacon, he got his wallet and keys, put on his high-top's and left his apartment. He walked through the hallways, getting to the entrance in no time since his room was on the second level. It was a nice day, he thought, glad that he was only wearing a white t-shirt and some brown shorts.

Felix grinned when the human finally came out after such a long wait she almost curled up and fell asleep while she waited. Now it was time for the fun to begin, but she tried to tone down her excitement. No need to have this person not trust me and never listen to a word I say now that would be no fun. "Hello," she squeaked somewhat like a little kid would. She choose not to add in the part that only he could see here right now that just added to the bit of the fun. She would try to play the whole lost card and stuff, but her horns kind of would give away something.

She waited calmly then put on a smile which was partially for just show and greeted,"Good morning." "Oh before you respond please keep in mind at this time you can only see me," She stated just like a person who would be saying a fact. This statement normally freaked people out, but she could really have people thinking that the boy crazy now could see. She carefully unfolded her light sky blue feathered wings to add to the fact that she wasn't human. "My name is Victoria Strider and you may ask me any questions," she introduced herself adding out the part she already knew his name. Most of the time people thought as a bit too creepy and adding on that fact she almost was punch because of it once.

Devin was a little bit startled by the tiny voice he heard, and it caused him to jump. He narrowed his eyes as he stared down the girl in front of him. Her horns were an immediate red flag, but he brushed it off, assuming that they were fake. "... Howdy," he replied casually, crossing his arms. He wasn't too accustomed to strangers greeting him outside of his door, so this was just a little worrying. "Who...who might you be?" He sounded obviously unsure, and he tilted his head slightly after he spoke.

Andrew sighed as he leaned against the brick wall, he glanced around, his leathery wings folded up against his back. "When is this slacker gonna wake up." He said to the angel he would be competing with, Mazie or something. The tall boy let out a shudder as a human seemingly passed through him, as at that moment he was hiding his presence from all other beings, except the angel of course. Andrew ran his fingers through his red hair, messing it up considerably. Out of boredom he began picking at his sharpened teeth, finding nothing of course but doing it all the same.

Maggie had glanced down at her phone when she heard a voice beside her. At the moment she had thought it was some simple stranger but when she looked up and saw a boy with horns she let out a loud gasp and she hopped back a few feet. Her slate gray eyes were wide and she had a small hand over her mouth. The white-haired girl was trying to speak but no noise came out. People looked at her quizzically, trying to figure out if there was something wrong and if they should be afraid as well. But for the most part they just quickened their pace past her to avoid having to deal with her.

"My name is Felix just Felix," The demon said with a smile happy that had already got him to jump in not even a minute. She was about to go on how late he was on getting out, but she didn't want him to be even more freaked out. "Do you by chance have a cat?" she asked out of curious if he did this was going to be one of the best jobs. Maybe that how she could be like she found this cat or something and get him to befriend her and all. She moved slightly when she saw someone out of the corner of her eye because she didn't really want to freak him out too much by someone going through her just yet.

Devin was already pretty desperate to get away from there. If he was being honest with himself, he was a bit creeped out. He raised an eyebrow when the girl asked him if he had a cat. "I, um...no, I don't. I don't have any pets. Why?" He wondered briefly if she was trying to hit on him, but he shoved that thought out of his mind as quick as it had come. It only made him want to draw back even more. He had to remind himself that there were plenty of other reasons someone might ask if he had a cat besides trying to get to know him in some strange way. No one ever approached him like this, and the longer he thought about it the more confused he became.
