Tovheir sat back in his chair. He calmly observed the others in the crowded tavern. Most were reeling over the news of the kings death, but not him. No. He had seen it coming, he had known that sooner or later good king Elos would make a wrong move. It was his own fault and Tovheir felt little remorse.

Tai'vil moved silently through the dark empty streets of one of Alenthia's largest cities. Anyone that noticed him avoided him and the sinister looking scythe strapped to his back.

Nylie cursed loudly as she tried to break the chains that bound her. The Alenthi's had just abandoned their prisoner when they heard the news of thier kings death. They left her in the middle of the the forest with no way to get free. She didnt even have a dagger to defend herself with.

Ryne wandered carelessly at the edge of one of the Alenthi forests. He wasn't even watching wherre he was going as he twisted fire in his hands.

Nylie turned quickly to look at the person who spoke. Her eyes glaring at the stranger. "One of the Alenthi pets I assume? Did they send you to do what they couldnt, the d*** cowards."

"Why dont I just leave you chained up!"She growled in a bitter voice pulling her sword from her belt.

Nylie paused for a moment studying the Lorren with the sword. She huffed, "didn't think that there was any choice for you. Your people allied with the Alenthi didn't they? That makes me your enemy."

Keyleth walked through the empty streets of one of Alenthia's cities, her bow slung across her back. She hated cities, she avoided them whenever she could, but she had to sleep somewhere. As she walked, she noticed someone else on the street with her. It was a man- a dark-skinned, white-haired man, who she felt a strange attraction to. She scrambled into the shadows of a nearby building and began to follow him, curious as to who he was and why he looked so much like her.

Tai'vil grumbled to himself as he stopped in what he assumed was the center of the city. He hadn't noticed anyone following him yet. He looked around at the streets leading in every direction. "Why must these people's cities be so confusing?"
