A dark figure dashed threw the woods, her black combat boots slammed against leaves as she desperately struggled to get away. Her little sister screamed as she got taken down and Amber looked down to see her sister eaten alive dead. She continued to run and mumbled under her breathe. "Ill live, ill keep going, ill survive for you Amy. I love you."

3 weeks later

She rose from the bed she had been laying in and stood up stretching. Her black backpack sat in a corner containing a rope, bow,and throwing knives. along with a desert eagle and some food. she gently pushede away the curtains and looked out side before shutting them. 5 rotters shuffled around on the street. The emo girl wore nit leggings with a long black hoodie and a t-shirt with combat boots.

Logan ran, jumping over a fence quickly without slowing down. He was running away from those things as about five ran after him, but the fence slowing them down. One saw him and started after him, but not for long before Logan shoved the combat knife into it's head. He looked around, and started jogging quickly to shed thing. He bursts through the door, panic running through him as he looked around."Amity?" When there was no answer, he started checking all the little spaces. "Amity?!"
Amity came out from one of the corners, surrounded by boxes so she was hidden. "I-I'm sorry.. I thought you were gone.." She said, her voice quivering. Logan went over to her, picking her up and hugging her. "It's okay.. We need to go get food, I don't want to leave you here." Amity nodded, clinging onto Logans neck as he turned and walked out the door, holding her in one arm, and a pistol in the other.

She let out a sigh and climbed down the stares. She pushed the couch away from the door and unraveled the chain on the handle opening it. She shot all five rotters with her bows running up pulling out the arrows. She had ten arrows, 7 where homemade. She walked down the road for about a mile before she reached the woods,where her sister lay. She walked up to the grave she made for her sister and lay a rose down before leaving to go hunt for deer.

Logan carried Amity, her head resting on his shoulder as he walked along, coming out of the woods he saw a road and decided to follow it. He followed the road for about half a mile before stopping to rest. He put Amity down, and opened his bag hoping for some water or anything, but everything was gone. Logan let out a sigh, still not putting the pistol down.

Amity sat by Logan, leaning against him as she yawned. She was tired, but survival meant only sleep in safe places. This was not safe.

She squeezed an i shut and removed her fingers staring at the dead deer. She cut off some off the meat and put it in a bag and started walking 'home.' it was getting late. She sighed and froze seeing to figures. she snuck up and put her desert eagle against the guys head. " Who are you?" She said with her eyes slitted.

Logan jumped, slitting his eyes as he felt the barrel press against his head. "Well, I'm not a walking corpse." He said bitterly, "so you gonna let me go?"

Amity screamed as someone came up behind them, and jumped up, turning towards the girl, her eyes wide with fear.

The girl unclicked the safety. " I said who are you." She repeated. Her eyes looked like chunks of silver and glittered like dew in the moon light. She had pale skin and black hair cut into a emo cut. She was dressed in a black hoodie that went to her thighs and black knitted leggings with combat boots.

Logan bit his lip, "My name's Logan." He growled, slowly standing up, looking at Amity. "Don't shoot me unless you're willing to kill a kid too."
