What are Khimaira Friesians?:
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Overall Artist Rules:
I'm only accepting skilles artists with basic horse coat color knowledge
skilled means at least the same skill as i have or even higher
skilled means at least the same skill as i have or even higher
If you color in here or try out for an artist position you automatically accept all of these rules beneath and you oblige to follow them
- you must PM me if you want to draw a rare or very rare Friesian
- if you want to do breedings ask me if you can make a breeding post in the breeding section
- please consider the rarity, draw more very common and common horses then uncommon ones (you don't need to consider the horses other artists draw)
- you don't need to know genetics (don't fill the genetic section), i will make a post under every horse you do, where i write down the breeding slots to keep track of the breedings and there i will note the genetics of the horse you did (but you need to add the genetics to your post afterwards)
- you need to at least know all horse colorations and all khimaira variations
- please consider the khimaira variation rules and rarity the same goes for the new dominant pearl genetic (1 pearl gen shows an effect now)
- don't hesitate to look in the information page for raritys, colorations, variations etc. if you have questions feel free to ask me
- you can only draw khimaira variations that are already known!
- try to make clear what variation you use on the design you do (overo and cloud khimaira can look alike depending on how you do them)
- you don't need to judge like i do (with random number generator and finals), but stay fair in your judgement
- don't forget that the friesians often have a dark or normal dilution of their base coat, only with pearl they show a lighter dilution
- please use this color chart: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160707/i8unqgas.jpg

Friesian coloration and rarity:
Friesian coloration
Khimaira friesians are not restricted to the black base coat, they can have all base coat colorations, but some have a higher rarity then others. but all colors have one in common, they often show a darker dilution. so if you see a friesian with a lighter dilution it often seems to have at least 1 pearl gen. Friesians don't have facial or leg markings, the same goes for khimaira friesians.
Rarity Order:
limitless: very common and common
every 3-5 horse: uncommon
every 20-25 horse: rare
every 50-55 horse: very rare
Rarity order means the horses the artist did himself! So sometimes there can be 2-3 rares in a short amount of time and then for a long time there will be no rares (this order is only for the adoptables, not for breedings, customs or wild khimairas)
Very common:
Black, 1 dominant pearl gen, khimairaless, khimaira paint gen, Bay, Brown, Chestnut
Common:
2 dominant pearl gens, cream gen, dun gen, silver gen, champange gen, double cream gen, two mixed gens, paint without khimaira
Uncommon:
three mixed gens, Roan, Grey, Rabicano, Sooty, Pangare, Flaxen, khimaira cloud gen, Paint with khimaira, Spots, Cobweb, appaloosa without khimaira
Rare:
khimaira fog gen, manchado without khimaira , appaloosa with khimaira, Brindle without khimaira, Reverse Brindle without khimaira, dominant white
Very rare:
Khimaira fantasy gen, chimera with and without khimaira, Brindle with khimaira, Reverse Brindle with khimaira, manchado with khimaira
