awwwwwwwwwwww... i don't often visit the oekaki boards but this piece really moved me. it's so SO precious, cute, endearing, and all things synonymous with those terms... just speaks of whimsy and nostalgia. it reminds me of an old children's poetry book called keepers by alice schertle. :))

I don’t know if anyone has said this already or not, but there’s something so beautifully nostalgic about this art piece! I don’t know why, but something about it reminds me of The Muppet’s A Christmas Carol 💖
