Dragonets-Dragon Hatching

Firestone-A black stone that dragons eat, turning it to gases that turn to flame when exposed to oxygen

Hatching Grounds-Place where a queen lays her eggs. The sands in the Hatching Grounds are very warm

Hold-Sort of like a state

Hold Lord/Land Lord-The owner of a hold

Lower Caverns-People who were not chosen by a dragon to be their rider

Queen-A bronze female dragon. They are the only species that can breed

Thread-A Black and red Thread that falls of our neighboring planet, Red Star. Thread makes the land of Pern dry, killing it.
