"Kaze?" you whimper, peering over the edge of the cliff face. Your Alpha has just fallen over the edge, after a piece of rock cracked under his weight. You sigh in relief when you see that he is already climbing back up, his hackles raised, and his fur bristling. As he reaches you, you grab his scruff and haul him up, your legs trembling from the effort. You dip your head to your Alpha, but he quickly urges you up. "We need to get out of here." he said, in a hushed voice. Just as you two were about to move away from the cliff, the earth started shaking underneath you, and a wide crack split you and your Alpha. "Jump!" you yowl to Kaze. He backed a bit from the crack, and took a running start, leaping in the air. The clouds broke apart, and let the sun's rays shine down on Kaze, shining so fiercely until you think you'll be blinded for life. Almost as soon as the earthquake started, it finished. The sun was once more swallowed up by the clouds, and in the middle of nowhere, lay a wolf, with his Alpha, shaking as his muscles burned.
