in the heart of the dense, shadowy forest known as shadowleaf woods, lies shadeclan. the peace of shadeclan is disrupted when the clan's medicine cat receives a disturbing prophecy from starclan: "when the silent shadows stir and the stars weep, the truth will be unveiled in the heart of the darkness". almost immediately after the prophecy was received, a series of unsettling events began to unfold.

as the forest grows eerily silent, shadows begin to move on their own, and prey becomes scarce. warriors report seeing mysterious figures at the edges of the territory. unusual celestial events, including small meteor showers, unsettle the clan, causing fear and confusion. the medicine cat and leader interpret these occurrences as ominous signs of impending danger.

amid this turmoil, ancient symbols are discovered carved into rocks near the marshland. elders recount legends of a historic conflict between shadeclan and rouge spirits known as the shadow spirits, who were banished to the darkest parts of the forest. this discovery leads to the realization that the prophecy may be linked to these long-forgotten spirits.

whispers amongst the shadows state that deep in the forbidden marshlands is where the heart of the darkness lies. although the clan cats are unsure of exactly what lies in the forbidden marshlands, some cats feel the sudden urge to go find out for themselves. with cats getting sick, tensions rising due to lack of food, shadeclan must find a way to navigate the prophecy, and put the shadow spirits at bay.

005. when it comes to reservations, first come first serve, whether this be through pm or on the discussion thread. this goes for both roles and even prefixes! it's not required to reserve, but it might be more handy.

006. make your characters diverse! any sexuality, gender, etc are welcome! that being said, at the same time, make sure your cats are physically realistic - no odd colored eyes or fur, etc. if you have any questions about this, don't be afraid to ask!

007. you cannot be your own mate/crush, but you are more than welcome to have your cats be parent/kit, siblings, or other familial relationships!

008. this roleplay is meant to be full of drama, but PLEASE make sure those you are roleplaying with are okay with what's happening! if we want to do something big that would involve all of the rp, such as major death, etc, run it by me first!
