Many seasons ago two neighboring clans fought, these clans were Tideclan and Duneclan. They fought over a stretch of land that was home to a plentiful amount of prey. And eventually, Duneclan won and secured their territory, though they made the unfortunate mistake of overhunting in this new plentiful territory. When Leaf-bare came Duneclan could barely feed half the clan due to the population boom during the new-leaf and green-leaf seasons. With no other choice, Duneclan turned to their only hope; Tideclan. Thankfully the smaller but healthier clan was able and willing to feed them. But somewhere along the line things got blurred, and the two clans became one. Beachclan.
...𝙱𝚞𝚝 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚜𝚝...
Now Beachclan makes their home a few days' travel from their old homes, on a small island connected to the mainland by a sandbar. Beachclan has been peaceful since it arrived at its new home. But things change. A storm rocked their little island home, and the clan is split in three and must find their way to be together again. A third thankfully found themselves in familiar territory, their own home. But the other two-thirds weren’t so lucky. One group has found themselves washed up on the mainland, with no way to know which way home lay. The other is in dire need of assistance, having somehow found themselves in a twoleg den, surrounded by strange kittypets and even stranger animals, deep within the mainland.

► Please follow all site rules.
► Please post all forms on the D&F page.
► Do not use the same Prefix as another person. Moon, Sun, Star,
and Beach cannot be a prefix or a suffix for obvious reasons - outside
of clan leader. Tide and Dune are not often used as they can
stir up old feelings. Prefixes will not be reserved.
► Please make your characters semi-realistic, wings, horns, and
unnatural fur colors/patterns will not be accepted. But Cats with
unnatural eye colors will be allowed.
► Please post at least four sentences or more per character. This is not
a semi-lit roleplay, but it's hard to respond to a one or two-sentence post.
► Stick to the original plot! Large problems like sickness or fire will be ignored.
Smaller things like minor animal attacks are fine as long as they aren't frequent.
► We top off at six characters per person. Please keep in mind that you cannot
be your own, mate, crush, mentor/apprentice
► no drama/discrimination/racism allowed, LGBTQA+ characters are very
welcome & encouraged!
► Try to post at least one a week, if you don't post for two weeks I'll dm you.
At the end of the third week, your characters will be removed. If you are going to
be gone for more than a week, please us know, and we'll figure things
out for your character's Interactions.
► To keep groups semi-even I’ll be placing characters in their groups. You’ll only
be told at the beginning of the rp which group is where. To keep suspense up.
► We're working on three strikes and you're out system. You get three warnings
before you get kicked.

𝚃𝚎𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢

Known as the Sausoll Enclave to the twolegs, Beachclan finds its territory on a huge - to cats anyways - island that could in theory house more than a hundred cats. Though Beachclan has never reached a higher number than 59 cats. The Sausoll Enclave is bordered by ocean on nearly every side, the only way into and out of the territory - aside from swimming - is during low tide when a small land bridge forms between the island and the mainland. Oddly enough Beachclan is a bit of a trading port for loners and envoys from other clans. They’ll regularly trade fish scales, shells, and feathers for Herbs, news/information, and on occasion refugees.

The Sausoll Enclave itself is covered in a thick forest made up of mostly Sitka Spruce, Maples, and Western Hemlock trees. The foliage is mostly made up of Salal, Evergreen Huckleberry, Deer Fern, and Sword Fern, with a few herbs laying around. The Enclave has one source of fresh water, which is a cat-made dug-out pond that circles the camp, doubling as both a source of freshwater and defense from a few dangers.

The weather in the area is moderate rainfall spread across the year or portion of the year with sporadic drought, mild to warm summers, and cool to cold winters. At its lowest temperature drops to -1 degrees Celsius or 30.2 degrees Fahrenheit but has reached high points of 29 degrees Celsius or 84.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Floods, Droughts, and landslides are the most common natural disasters but they aren’t common at all, rather quite rare.

Beachclan is typically very welcoming to outsiders as long as you obey the law of the land and don’t stray too far from the small encampment that the Tidewatchers made many seasons ago not far from the land bridge.
