➛xxxyou may make as many characters as you wish, but there are some stipulations as to what you can create, which are covered in the following rules.

➛xxxyou will only be able to create characters of open ranks, unless a queen gives birth to a litter, in which case those cats will go on to become warriors or higher. to join, you must create a warrior. you cannot just have a queen/kit/apprentice/etc.

➛xxxyou may only create one high-ranking character at the start. if your character is later chosen as deputy or medicine cat apprentice, you do not have to demote or kill off your current high-rank!

➛xxxplease keep genders even. If you have more than one character, you must have both a male and female.

➛xxxbe realistic with your character's names and appearances, their actions, and the way you type in this roleplay.

➛xxxyou do not have to use the form below, feel free to use your own. it MUST include: name, appearance/character image, rank, gender, and age. Feel free to include more information, I'd love to read your characters' backstories and personalities as well!

➛ wiltedclan has not always ruled these woods.
it was not very long ago when there were three clans that lived together, ringing the base of a mountain. all three camps were nestled safely into the mountain, and all three looked to their sacred monument at the top: the moon rose. for these clans all looked to starclan, their warrior ancestors, for guidance - and this rose, blooming forever and washing silver in the moonlight, was their connection to the stars. the rose was meant only to be seen by cats that had earned the right to stand in awe of it, but everything changed when a twoleg village began to form in one of the clans' territory.
➛ the three, bloomclan, sproutclan, and petalclan, had never seen war. the clans had lived in harmony, rarely having territory issues. but as petalclan's territory was destroyed, it was with desperation that they forced their way into their neighbors'. as construction continued and territory was destroyed, tensions rose and battles began, until the mountain was covered in war. it was recklessness that led to the moon rose's sacred peak being violated by countless paws. as the scrabbles broke out, the rose's petals were torn off and its stem broken. clouds covered the moon, and a storm began to rage. rain poured, causing a horrible mudslide that destroyed even more territory and killed many, although most warriors had been lost in the needless disputes.
➛ in the end, few cats remained. without much choice, they came together under the only surviving authority: the leader of bloomclan. the survivors called themselves wiltedclan. for the most part, they were the most hardened, skilled warriors of the three clans - the only cats that had been able to win battles and keep themselves alive. with the rose destroyed, starclan went silent. when the bloomclan leader died, no cat took charge, as the deputy could not consult with starclan. for moons, warriors turned away from them, and the clan was hardly more than a shamble of loners living in the same place. finally, a cat was called by the warrior ancestors of the three clans. named ravenwhisker, the long-furred tom was a warrior of petalclan - the last one of his clan to survive. the young warrior was called back to the top of the mountain, where he found a new rose blooming in the old one's place. ravenwhisker slept there, and was called to lead the new wiltedclan, to pull together the cats of warrior blood.
➛ ravenwhisker returned to the bottom of the mountain as ravenstar, the first cat to be awarded his nine lives by the new rose. he spread word, taking non-believers to the top of the mountain to prove starclan had returned to guide them. finally, with ravenstar's guidance, wiltedclan became the sole lineage of the forest, returning to the warrior code. tensions were - and are - still high, as not every cat believes starclan won't abandon them again, but ravenstar managed to keep the peace. now, wiltedclan is still full of hard, toughened cats, led under the leadership of ravenstar's deputy.

【☣】ᴛᴇʀʀɪᴛᴏʀʏ !!【☣】

➛ wiltedclan's territory is nestled at the base of a tall, pine-covered mountain. cold seasons come sooner and leave later, snow being something the clan is very accustomed to. a waterfall rushes down the side of the mountain and into their territory, settling into a large pool of the crispest water a cat could ever taste - and being near to the border, outsiders are a common problem here, especially kittypets. the clan's western border is that of twolegplace: an expansive, although rustic, village spreads around most of the mountain's base, consuming the old clans' territories. the clan's eastern border ends just before a river. this river harbors a bridge with a thunderpath; the thunderpath curves downward and away from the mountain, marking the clan's southern border.
➛ a paw-worn path leads up the mountain. there, the pines form a ring around a small clearing where a single rose blooms from a bush. medicine cats and leaders come here to sleep among its roots and consult with starclan.
