ravineclan has lived in general peace for generations, yet an air of uncertainty was released
upon them a couple of moons ago. it began after the death of mallowmoss, the clan's deputy
that should've never been, at least according to lavenderleaf and starclan, apparently. such
was spoken to their leader at the time, cloudstar when she was about to appoint him as their
new deputy, the medicine cat interrupted with starclan's plea, which told of a warrior named
heronface, who starclan had supposedly chosen as deputy instead. many believed that this
was a lie, a ploy perhaps. heronface was once apart of a notorious rogue group known as
anything but allies toward racineclan, especially after nearly slaying lavenderleaf's former
mentor, brackenwhisper. in short, they went against the medicine cat's words and thus the
deputy was named mallowmoss.
mallowmoss's time as deputy was short-lived however, attacked during a hunting trip with
his apprentice, after straying too far away. he hadn't suffered for long, though once word
reached the clan, they were shocked, even more so uneasy. after a particularly dreadful
conversation with the medicine cat, cloudstar reluctantly named heronface deputy. though
not long afterwards, she began to grow ill, dying a few moons later.
and now to present day. there has been a heavy air of hatred among ravineclan, believing
that starclan was either wrong or had nothing to do with the matter to begin with. perhaps
this is all what heronface - now heronstar - had planned from the beginning or maybe he
really was meant to be leader. but there were so many unanswered questions. what killed
mallowmoss? what had lavenderleaf exactly said to cloudstar? what illness overcame her?
was it really an illness or something else? so many questions, so little time. and thus a
group of rebels have begun to form in hopes of getting to the bottom of this. yet some have
different tactics and opinions than others, they may even bring themselves down before
even discovering the truth.
