Long ago, these cats lived in peace together. They were united, known as Laurelclan. After many moons and a new leader, cats were unhappy with the change of leadership. They felt that the new leader was too harsh and not as kind as the previous one. A revolt was started, and the clan split into two sides. One side wanted to follow the current leader, and the other side wanted to vote for a different leader. A civil war within the clan started, and blood was shed. A decision was made for the clan to fully separate into the different camps and create two new clans.

Many more generations have passed since this war. Both of the clans, Shoreclan and Summitclan, were thriving. There had been peace for a long time, and cats remained in their own territory. At least... until now. 1 moon ago, a battle during a gathering at the Old Sycamore broke out. Starclan gave the two clans an ultimatum: try to make peace for the final time or make a third clan act as a barrier between them.

For the two clans, peace was not an option. Now Sycamoreclan stands in the way and protects the peace. The peace has lasted so far and the cats suspect nothing until a number of cats from each of the 3 clans receive a message from Starclan. They aren't sure what to make of it, but it will change everything in this new life all of them have built. Will they be able to save everyone from destruction?

This is the main thread. Only major events including all of the clans will be roleplayed here.

Shoreclan and Summitclan have a long history together, but Sycamoreclan is extremely new. The clan was formed just 1 moon ago, and the camp is still being somewhat built. Despite Starclan promising them peace and prosperity, the clans are struggling. In the middle of the leaf-bare, everyone is in crisis. And it's just about to get worse.

One day, a number of cats from each of the three clans wake up from strange dreams. They're not quite sure what to make of them, and at the time they simply brush them off as nightmares or figments of imagination. For a week, these dreams continue and the images get worse.
Cats in Shoreclan see a black substance in the ocean and dead fish.
Cats in Sycamoreclan see animals with foaming mouths and red eyes.
Cats in Summitclan see only pale bones and desperately starving cats.

These dreams start to frighten the cats, causing them to lose sleep. They frantically go to their leaders, pleading with them that something is very wrong and something bad is coming to the clan. The leaders ignore them and tell them that they're just struggling with adjusting to the changes that happened within the moon.

The next week, the cats are extremely sleep-deprived. Finally, everything is much clearer to them on one night when cats from Starclan approach them in their dreams. The group of cats from the three clans all see each other and recognize one another, whether as friends or enemies. The starry ancestors tell the clan cats that the images they were seeing were true and could become fate if they didn't try to stop it from happening. With a final message, they tell the cats the following prophecy:

"It shall be on the day that prey kills predator, a breakdown shall mark the end of peace and the start of sin."
