INTRODUCTION
The traditions of this clan has gone on for moons, not without meaningless deaths. It began when the first
leader, Blossomstar had decided that his clan would thrive, as it had begun growing weaker without new kits.
As he asked the cat he'd loved to be his mate under a cherry blossom tree, he'd made it so the clan could grow,
enforcing a new law where cats by the age of 35 must have a mate. But with it came another problem, as the
kits were born, there was an influx of deformed kits. Blossomstar had decided to fix the issue secretly, forcing
the curers of the clan to rid of the kits somehow. This tradition has caused much heartbreak, but it has been
continued since the beginning, even if the reason has been unknown from nearly everyone, exempt for the leader
and the curer himself. Is it finally time for the tradition to end for BlossomClan?

In-Character Rules
• The word of the leader is law
• Cats must have a mate by 35 moons, or they will
receive punishment by either the leader or the curer,
unless they have retired early due to battle/hunting
injuries
• If a cat wishes to ask another to be their mate, they
must do it in front of the Blossom Tree in camp so every
cat can see
• If kits are born during leafbare, the curer must check
for deformed kits and tend to them, telling their parents
that they had suddenly died of no one's fault
• If two seasons pass and there are no kits, pairs can part
from each other without punishment
• If a cat asks another to be their mate, the one asked
must accept, or face punishment
• No cat but the leader or curer actually knows what the
curer does with deformed kits
• The curer may only be a tom, she-cats are not allowed
to have this position

They meet once every moon for the gathering of the two clans.
But every so often, they will have a few accidental meetings at the border, whether they mean to or not.

Stepping out of her den, the sun was only beginning to rise, but it was still quite dark out. The deputy wasn't awake just yet, not that he really needed to be. Maybe she could take her apprentice for the dawn patrol herself, although doubted that she’d have enough time to do so.

He happened to be awake before the dawn patrol was even sent out as usual, already finishing the mouse he'd grabbed from the prey pile earlier. As he laid beside the large cherry blossom tree, he figured that he'd need to settle down with someone soon, but he didn't want to settle down with just anyone. He wanted someone like his mentor had with his mate, having a few kits and someone to be with as elders. But maybe he just wanted the happy ending.

Creamflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. She scans the clearing, seeing whose up and about this morning.

xxxEchopaw slowly awoke from where she was resting in her nest in the apprentices den with the rest of them. Closing her eyes for a few more moments, she reopened her emerald green eyes and curled her fluffy tail as she slowly rose to her paws. Stretching in her nest, she quickly groomed herself so that she looked at least presentable when she walked out.

Carefully, she stepped through the den, trying not to step on anyone. She accidentally stepped on one, sadly, and it was Hawkpaw nonetheless. She winced slightly as she quickly ran out of the den after muttering a quick "sorry" after the awful wake-up call.

Leaving the den, she perked her ears up to see her mentor standing outside of her den. A wide smile grew on her maw as she made her way over, bounding all the while. Finally, she stopped in front of the den, her tail swaying in the air in excitement that she was awake around the time her mentor was.

"Good morning Archstar!" She mewed out, sitting down beside her mentor, "Sooo...what are we gonna do today?"

Rising her head in pride as her apprentice had already been up and awake, even without her having to wake her. Since she was still a younger apprentice, of course she was proud of Echopaw. “First we’ll go on the dawn patrol once a few more cats wake, then we’ll work on your battle training.” The tabby spoke up, before turning from her apprentice and towards the deputy himself. “Even if I didn’t wake up now, Halfleap, you still wouldn’t be one of the last ones to wake up.”
