You step from shadow to shadow, trying to desperately hide from the feared "warrior cats." You hear a crack behind you and you leap, your fur bristling. You start to run, and all you can hear is your own pawsteps, until there is another. You let out a yowl as you are tackled from behind and the air is taken from your lungs as you are pressed into the soft, springy ground. "This is a surprise..." A voice hisses in your ear. "You'll make a nice pr-" The voice abruptly gets cut off and you are released. You look up and the cat who pinned you is running away. Your savior turns and starts walking away, beckoning you with his tail "Come, you will be safe." He says over his shoulder. Will you trust him?
Many, many moons ago... There lived a clan by a Lake. Once the fish started dying and the birds left the trees, it seemed all was lost. With their leader at their head, the starving group of cats left and hoped for a better life. Many cats left but the small group has started rebuilding their numbers with time. Their story is not yet finished, and with the search on for their meeting place with StarClan, more has yet to come...
The new clan has found their home in a bright forest(^), not unlike where they used to live. They have made camp in a rocky clearing in the heart of the forest. The leader's den is hidden in the back of the clearing under a large tree. The medicine den is surrounded by moss so it is well protected. The apprentice's den is close to the warrior's den and some rocks shield the entrances from cold and rain. The elders' den is near the medicine den along with the nursery. On the edge of the territory, there is a section of burnt trees that is forbidden to hunt in, even though new growth is coming back.
