Many, many, many moons ago, way longer than any cat in the clan has been alive, EagleClan had a leader named EagleStar, whom the clan was named after. Every cat respected him, and believed he was a great leader. One day a horrible sickness swept the clan, leaving EagleStar with one life. StarClan had pity on the once glorious leader, now a skinny, fearful cat. They came to him, and gave him the choice of anything, anything that StarClan could do, and help his clan survive once he was gone. At once, EagleStar´s mind raced back to a moment in his childhood, when he attempted to catch a bird, fell, and landed in the waterfall. After the event, he remebered wishing he could fly. F l i g h t,EagleStar spoke, I wish for my clan to have the ability to fly. StarClan understood the leader, and tried, but the outcome was not as well as planned. The cats could fly, somewhat, in the extent that they could hover off the ground for 1 minute at a time. Pleased with himself, EagleStar soon passed away, leaving his legacy in the clan, as the cat who brought flight to the clan. It soon became an important part of their daily clan life. EagleClan is bordered by MeadowClan, WolfClan, and SkyClan. They live in the mountains on the other side of where SkyClan are. These cats are lousy at climbing, but they can fly somewhat.
