RULES:

2) follow the rules of The Warrior Code, this is the Medicine Herb list for the Medicine Cat so you can have a quick ref.

4) no killing unless permission is gotten from the character's owner and you PM me with what will happen so i can keep the front page up to date.
5) i hate to do this, but i need you to make a minimum of two characters, one female and one male, and do not make any more characters then you can handle.
6) no being your own mate/crush/anything like that unless given prior permission from me.
7) LISTEN to me or one of my mini-mods. NO asking to be a mini-mod, the position is earned and offered by me once i decide that you are worthy enough for it.
8) PM me to ask before you make "star-crossed lovers" or "same sex mates" or "you kill yourself off" or "sudden catastrophes" or "natural disasters" or anything that might fall under those categories. a good general rule of thumb is that if you have any questions about anything, then please PM me.
9) DO NOT BUMP THIS THREAD, if it needs to be bumped, then i will do it. keep all OOC out of this thread and in the DISCUSSION THREAD. as well, please post all forms in that thread as well and if you have any questions then please PM me directly. look closely at the discussion thread to see a few requirements on making your character.
10) any breaking of Tess's rules will result in instant reporting. any breaking of my rules will result in reprimanding by me or my mini-mods only, if something is done while i am offline then please PM it to me in detail. there will be one verbal warning, then three written warnings, after that you will be asked to leave the RP. if you continue to post after you are requested to leave then you will be reported for spamming.
11) under no circumstances will there ever be power playing or god modding of any sort, the closest thing to a "god" in this thread it me. please find your creativity and write a detailed sentence if you need to, no short cutting and making it happen.
EXAMPLE: Thunder ran over to Ice and pinned her down, his claws making her bleed. <--this in not acceptable! the proper way to write it would be Thunder an over to Ice, jumping at her and aiming to pin her down. he hoped he would be successful, possibly even clawing her enough to make her bleed. <--this is the proper way, or something similar. it took me about seven more seconds to write that second set as it did to write the first set. please think before you write.

A long time ago, before anyone can remember, Starclan gathered all cats from all corners for a meeting.

"There are dark forces coming that are beyond our control. We must do something to stop it before we are all lost!" one of the starry elder's said to the assembly.

For many moons the cats talked about what to do, before they finally came up with a plan. The would chose five cats from the earth below and bestow upon them powers beyond their wildest dreams.

One chosen cat was a fiery tempered, extremely loyal tom by the name of Sunclaw. He was given the power to make and control fire. The second was a beautiful, lithe, and agile she-cat by the name of Riverwind, she was begiven the power to control water. The third was a mottled brown and white she-cat named Stoneflower, a medicine cat for her clan and not well versed in the fighting arts; she was given the power to control the earth and plants, allowing her to heal almost anything in a fraction of the time it took her originally to do so. The fourth was a jet black tom named Midnigthwind, he was by far the most skilled at hunting and climbing among the other cats and he was given power over the wind.

The fifth, the one that was chosen to lead the rest of the group, was one that no one expected. The gift of Spirit, which included the control of other cats both mentally and physically, as well as a multitude of psycokenetic abilities, was given to Eterna. Eterna was a young kitty-pet, just barely weaned from her mother, and abandoned by the two-legs who claimed to have loved her. This she-cat had proven time and again that she could beat the odds and triumph in anything that she set her mind to.

These five cats alone defeated the great evil that threatened the worlds and locked it away in it's prison again. Together they returned truimphant to their clans, but the soon discovered that their clans were all by destroyed, with only a few members left from each. Together, under the lead of Eterna herself, they formed a new clan and rebuilt their home.

This is that clan, now many generations later, with a new darkness stirring in the forest. Will they be able to survive again, or will they be destroyed?

"well, now that you know our story, will you join us?" a stiff-backed tom asked you from the shadows of the tree branches he was perched on.

soon another cat crept out of the shadows and whispered, "he has the mark, he belongs here."

"what is your desicion? will you join us or turn your back and leave forever?" the tom asked again.

Eternaclan is a group of elementally gifted cats. each cat is given and element on the day that they are destined to be apprenticed. every cat in the clan is born with the same mark, a pawprint on their left shoulder that is either white or black depending on the color of their pelt, and on the day that they are given their gifts it will change to one of five colors:

Red for the element of Fire, this includes being able to create fire from nothing or controlling fire that has already been created, but it only works on small amounts of fire, if the fire becomes too much (like a wild fire or a human's camp fire) then the cat loses control of it or cannot gain control of it. IMMUNE TO THE ELEMENTAL GIFTS OF WATER AND AIR

Blue for the element of water, this includes being able to control water and being able to freeze or unfreeze it in small amounts; a cat cannot change the course of a naturally occurring water source. IMMUNE TO THE ELEMENTAL GIFTS OF FIRE AND AIR

Yellow for the element of Air, this includes controlling air currents and causing small weather phenomena; like blowing up a small tornado or blowing in nearby clouds to make it rain. IMMUNE TO THE ELEMENTAL GIFTS OF FIRE AND WATER

Green for the element of earth, this element is a rare occurrence and only shows up when a cat is destined to be a Medicine Cat (only two cats at max can have this element at the same time), cats gifted with this element are mainly focused healers and have very few fighting skills; some of the things that they can do is control the growth of healing herbs and defensive manipulation to make walls of earth to protect and shield the work that is being done. IMMUNE TO THE ELEMENTAL GIFTS OF FIRE, WATER, AIR, AND MOST OF THE PSYCHIC GIFTS OF SPIRIT

Purple for the element of spirit, this element is even more rare than earth and only the leader can have this element. this element allows the control of all the four other elements as well as control of other cats. this element if focused mostly around psychic abilities, like telekinesis and telepathy and control of another's aura. when a cat has proven that they posses the knowledge and sanity to be given such a gift, then the leader will be sent a sign from Starclan on what cat should be the successor. IMMUNE TO ALL OTHER ELEMENTAL GIFTS EXCEPT HEALING FROM EARTH

CAMP ENTRANCE: this cavern leads to a tunnel that will bring the cat into the small ravine that holds the camp.


MEDICINE CAT'S DEN and WARRIOR DEN the Healer's den is the small hole and holds not only the area he sleeps in but also the tunnel to the Glowing Pond where he speaks with The Home Lands, while the large hole on the right leads to where the Hunters and the Guards sleep.


APPRENTICE DEN the Soft-Paws sleep inside the old tree, with the way in at the right end of the trunk.


ELDERS DEN and NURSERY within this tree is a tunnel that leads to the nursery, while the cave in the base of the trunk is more then large enough to leave adequate room for the elders to make their den as well as have the nursery so close


LEADER'S DEN this large stone not only houses the tunnel that leads into camp but also the leader's den

Skunkstar woke up slightly before dawn, as he usually did, and walked out onto his perch. The ledge looked out over the whole camp, and he settled in to watch his clan wake up. It had been a rough start, but the clan was strong and growing.

Flameheart stretched in his warm nest and rolled over, not wanting to get up yet. The mornings were still chilly from leaf-bare, and new leaf had not quiet set in fully yet. He knew that he should get up and get ready for the day, but he did not want to leave the warmth of his nest and den.

She deeply admired the tom, and sat down next to him to wait.
