On the base of a snowy mountain lives a group of wild cats. This
group, known as Stoneclan, has lived on the mountain for as long as any-
cat can remember. However, tragedies occurring 7 moons prior have
caused many interruptions to normal clan life. After the loss of two clan
deputies in a row, the already mentally fragile Puddlestar lost his mind
when the news of Fernstar of Cloverclan's death reached his camp. His
spiraling condition eventually forced him to step down from his position
as leader of Stoneclan, which he had held for 24 moons. Now, Leopard-
star has taken over the clan. Will they be able to adjust to the sudden
shift in leadership, or will the group fall apart as if the glue bonding
them together had burst?

Three moons ago, Eveningleaf called a gathering and convinced Puddlestar to step down from his position as leader, arguing that his mental health rendered him unfit to lead. The formed leader took his warrior name and retired to the elders den. Leopardheart became Leopardstar, and currently leads Stoneclan.

Stoneclan lives at the base of a large, snowy mountain. It is often snowing, although the wet season comes with lots of rain in Greenleaf. There is a pine forest covering half the territory, across from the mountain, where squirrels and birds can be found. In the field between the forest and camp, rabbits and other rodents can be found. There is a stream that passes through the territory and near the camp, where good fishing is found.

However, the mountain is a dangerous place, and can easily kill an unprepared cat. With its freezing winds, shifting snow, and harsh drops, Stoneclan has lost many cats to its treachery. However, the Starstones, Stoneclan's sharing place with Starclan, resides halfway up the mountain, on the opposite side of the camp. It is recommended to never hunt on the mountain alone.
