we do not take kind to visitors.

moonclan is a clan well known by many others as a snarky, stuck up group of dung-brained cats that believe in silverpelt.
well, they may be right. moonclan lives peacefully; as they would call it, on an island far off any coast. the island is quite
large, able to fit a whole city of twolegs. moonclan only claims a small portion of this land. the problem is, it's near the
coast. and the water recently has been rising, storms have been brewing and the island is shrinking; more cats hounding
in to one central area of the island. the last camp they had was swallowed up by the ocean, and their current one may
very well be next. chasing off rogues and loners, battling for territory, and trying to survive this leaf-bare, will moonclan
make it to the seasons to come, or will they vanquish?

territory

moonclan is located on an island, as stated. the island is large, maybe about the size of new jersey. the island is also home
to many different cats, clan-born or not. they all wrestle over the best territories, although moonclan has a permanent
space to themselves, and are feared by most to keep it. they had already lost their first camp to a hurricane, and many of
their members. they've just relocated into a new camp, described below. the territory of moonclan is a forest, a few miles
up the newest growing shore. there are a few streams and clearings, as well as an old tree the cats often travel to to find
a mass of prey hidden beneath the roots. there's also a tiny valley that runs through their territory and past, and as a
matter of fact their camp is located between the walls; which leads us to the next section.
moonclan's camp is located in a valley, a shorter one, that provides water, shelter, a small selection of herbs, and even
sometimes prey lurks into their camp by accident. the leader's den is protected by bracken and nettle plants found in
various locations of the island, hidden under the highrock. the warrior's and apprentice's den are beside each other,
larger dens located near the leader's. the nursery is higher up in the valley in case of a flood, but easily accessible. the
elder's residential area is located directly beside the medicine den, between a dark opening that leads down two paths;
take the left to get to the elder's den, the right to the medicine cat's den.
note;; the old tree is referred to as the "silverpelt tree", and is their way to meet starclan. they often chew the moss
and then touch their nose to the tree.

it was a musky dawn. groggily the silver pelted leader rose to her paws, stretching out into an arch. a lonely den she had, large enough for all the warriors in moonclan. sometimes she even decided to sleep with her fellow warriors, but a leader needed peace and quiet for thoughts and self-loathing. alderstar's mother had passed only two moons before, leaving her blurred in her path. though she was grief-stricken, alderstar was strong and definitely wasn't letting her mother's welcome to silverpelt get in her way. if anything, it was a warm welcome from a harsh life that took her away from moonclan. passing the bracken and moss that hung over her den making an opaque entrance, she shook out her pelt and opened her jaws to sense what was around that day. nothing unusual. a faint scent of prey, her warrior's scents and the lovely smell of dew and mist from the short falls that hung over the camp rocks, forming a light stream that fell through the camp. small pawsteps formed in the moist dirt before her, as she walked slowly to the warriors den to begin awakening some of the warriors. alderstar was usually the first awake, but undoubtedly the others were never too far behind her. giving a quick lash of her tail, she shook moss in the den causing some pebbles stuck inside to clink-clank around inside of the den. chuckling slightly, she leaped up to a rock and sighed, a grin forming on her face.

pricklepaw was snoring away, dozed off in the apprentice's den. his black and white fur was slicked down to his pelt, the tom having snuck out last night to go for a swim. he was definitely not the smartest tom, shivering all night and leaving his bed wet. he'd have to collect new moss today, and he'd had better hoped that crowtail didn't mind it either. he usually got in trouble with his mentor, but everyone knew pricklepaw was a thorn in their pelts. so really, it's just now expected. sometimes it gets in the way of his training, but he's in no rush to be a warrior anyways. who wants to do the same old every day, patrols this hunting that? borrring.

the small bundle of fluffy fur was pressed against creamleaf's side, eyes shut tightly as he slept. the young tom loved the warm comfort of his mother's fur, the soothing scent of milk wrapping around his tiny pink nose. the day before he had tumbled around everywhere he could that his mother would let him go. his tiny legs were tired, thankfully he got his fulfillment of the day.

the ivory tom awoke, glancing quickly outside the warriors den and he pulled himself up. he looked around the den as he stretched his jaw into a yawn and extended his legs out in front of him. whiteheart did enjoy being deputy, and he had always wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps but it was quite tiring from time to time, but he didn't let it bother him. he examined his fluffy pelt and pulled out old try pieces of moss and struggled to get the bits off his back per usual. he exited the den carefully and smiled at alderstar as he approached her. "good morning, alderstar." he said kindly.

poppypaw stirred in her nest as she dreamed, the dream fuzzy and confusing. her dreams were always blurry and frightening but not often like this. she was being chased through the forest by something, what it was she couldn't tell but she didn't like it. her eyes shot open and she held her breath as she shot up in her nest. she breathed out a sigh of relief and looked around the den, hoping she didn't wake anyone. she frowned a bit and stared down at her paws, her legs feeling a bit weak. she hated dreaming because of her nightmares like that. she looked outside the den with a furrowed brow as she heard cats beginning to wake.

he yawned as he left the den, a bit of moss stuck on the bottom of his tail. he sat down and looked around the camp groggily, glancing towards the leader and deputy but quickly looking away. in all honesty foxleap was never quite fond of the deputy, nor did he have a desire to be the deputy. he liked where he was as a warrior, he was fine with his duties and fine with being a mentor but wanted nothing more than that, or he felt like it may be too much work. he curled his tail over his white paws and licked the little piece of moss off of his tail with a tired glare.

eden sighed as she jumped down from a fence post after snooping in a two-legs territory. frankly, the she-cat was bored. she felt like she had nothing to do, and desperately wanted someone to talk to. she of course knew there was a clan nearby but didn't feel like being chased around or hurt by any clan cats today. the fluffy she-cat swayed her tail impatiently as she padded around the territory looking for something to entertain herself with, treading a ways away from her own den that she had made. she had called it home for the past few moons and found it quite comfortable, even though it was a old log.

Rainpaw awoke to the morning sun peeking into her nest. The she-cat yawned, standing up and stretching as quietly as she could so she didn't disturb any other cat. Quietly and carefully Rainpaw made her way out of the den and into the camp. She sat down in the sun and began grooming herself as some of her fur was a bit messed up from her slumber.
