Eveningleaf fluffs out her pelt against the searing wind as she pads up the side of the mountain towards the cave that marked their destination. "Almost there, Hawkpaw," she mews over her shoulder at her young apprentice. I hope he's ok in this temperature.. She whisks her tail behind her, leaping up a few stones. Her eyes center on the hole in the mountainside ahead of her. "There, can you see it?"

"Just a little farther." Threeleg mewed as he pushed against the sharp wind that rolled off the mountains. He was excited for the halfmoon, especially since it was Goldenpaw's first. He was excited for his apprentice to share with StarClan, but as always, he was nervous. What if he got something bad? Like a prophecy? As the mouth of the cave came into view, he looked at Goldenpaw with a smile. "We're here. I wonder if Eveningleaf and Stoatfur show up."

goldenpaw looked up. he could smell the different scents, and it made it hard to navigate. he slipped a little, before regaining his balance. the air in the mountains was much colder than in the meadow, but he had longed for this day and wasn't just going to turn back.
