LINK TO THE DISCUSSION AND FORMS THREAD: XXX You are walking through a desert. All around you there is nothingness... just an endless
expanse of sand and rock and gravel.. without a single drop of water to drink. Sure, there's bushes and the occasional tree, but
other than the hum of bugs, the sound of your paws on the desert floor, and a distant coyote howl, there's no sign of life.
Mountains rise up in the distance and there are gorges and dips in the sandy earth before you. You're parched and starving, and
desperate for a place to rest. All hope seems to be lost...But suddenly.. you spot it, just up ahead. Could it be?
Yes, an oasis! Filled with a large lake of water in its center and groves of trees and parched underbrush! Suddenly a cat comes
racing towards you and hisses. He is a tomcat, long-legged and skinny, yet still fearsome, "Why are you on DesertClan territory,
outsider? What business do you have here?" He asks you with his eyes baleful green eyes narrowed to slits.
You back up, nervous around the hostile male. "I didn't know I was on your territory. What is DesertClan anyway?" you ask,
confused.
The sandy-colored, wiry tomcat sighs, suddenly letting his guard down and letting his aggression droop. "Come back to the Oasis
with me and I'll explain. By the way, my name's Scorchstar.. and you'll do well to remember it, if you'll be staying with us."
Welcome to DesertClan.. home of the hard-headed, strong-willed, and loyal. This band of
tough Clan cats was formed many moons ago by a loner named Desert. They been living here for countless moons, but these
survivors might just perish...

You however will not be banned/striked
if you tell me ahead of time that you will
not be on.
★ Be realistic. Normal names please. Normal
pelts, eye colors, abilities, etc.
★ Try your best to spell correctly
and use correct grammar. A few typos are
perfectly fine. I just need to be able to understand
you.
★ Keep it age appropriate.
No committing suicide or cussing. Warrior swear
Words are okay to use.

- Batpaw is blind
- Rattlestorm was born with Feline Cerebellar Hypoplasia (can be uncoordinated, spazzy, unbalanced, and wobbly)
- Snow is premature and is slightly smaller than the average cat/ more fragile
- Tinypaw has autism/aspergers syndrome, is smaller then he should be, and still has his kitten fur on.
- Amberpaw is blind in her right eye!
- Splashpaw is blind in her left eye
- Cougar is mute!
- Halfpaw cannot see out of one of his eyes due to a fight with a rogue.
- Quailfeather is infertile.

The Wasteland - This is the massive stretch of land beyond the Oasis. The land is mostly dry and desolate, like any desert would be, but has some underbrush and mountains in the distance. No cat has dared to draw too close to the mountains.. out of fear of the coyotes and foxes that dwell there.
The Falls - Though prey is very scarce where the DesertClan cats reside, prey can be discovered if you know the right place to look! To the right of the Oasis, there are the Falls: a gorge with a river running through it. There are trees and thick, green underbrush beside the river, and there is a well-worn path down to better hunting grounds. This is also a good place to gather herbs, and where the medicine cat and apprentice gather their supplies.
The Crystal Pools - This is where the DesertClan cats go to share with StarClan. It is a fair distance away from the Oasis, and is in the Wasteland. It takes cats a quarter of a day to reach it.
Big Rock - This is where the apprentices' go to train.

The Oasis - This is where the DesertClan cats live. There is a lake in its center, and it is filled with lush vegetation and trees for the cats to dwell in.
The leader's den - This den belongs to DesertClan's current leader, Scorchstar. It is a large crack in the Oasis floor, and there is a rocky overhang above it. That is where he calls meetings.
The medicine cat den - This is where the medicine cat and his/her apprentice sleep. There are walls along the tunnel's interior that act as shelves for herbs.
The warriors' den - Obviously, this is where the warriors of DesertClan sleep. Like most animals in the desert do, they sleep in burrows underground. These tunnels stretch far into the earth, and the space for new cats is limitless.
The apprentice den - Where the apprentices of the Clan sleep.
The queens' den - Where the queens and kits of DesertClan sleep.
The elders' den - and finally, we have the elders' den!

As for our plot.. we're pulling traditional warrior cat
trauma. There is a traitor amongst the warriors of DesertClan, and he vows to
overthrow Scorchstar if it's the last thing he does! It'll take four cats united as
one to stop him and his treachery!
The four cats are:
Noeyes, the sacrifice
Snow, the spy
Fawnleap, the misled
and Rattlestorm, the indescicive
XXX - Warrior terminology
XXX - Battle and hunting techniques
XXX - List of diseases and injuries
