Jayclaw sat quietly, scuffing his paws on the loose dirt, sitting vigil since he became a new warrior of the clan, the sun would be rising soon, and his vigil would be over, enabling him to speak once more.

Moonpaw was fast asleep in the mossy nest, curled up with his tail over his nose nestled near his denmates, he dreamed of catching the biggest, fattest vole the entire clan had seen, his chest swelling with pride as he dropped it in the fresh kill pile.

Cottontail was curled up in her den, sleeping lightly as the morning light slowly woke her. JUst outside her den, she heard a twig snap and a bird flapping its wings, and her eyes slowly opened. She stood up, yawning slightly and adjustedher eyes to the morning light, before walking out of her den and into camp.

Jayclaw was staring into space, until he realized the sun was coming up from the spot, he squinted, being blinded for a moment by the orange-red sunlight creeping across the camp, he stretched, padding up to where the patrol will begin.

Moonpaw woke up, yawning loudly. "Today I finally get to train against another apprentice!" he squealed to himself, bounding to his mentor's nest nearby.

She padded out of her den and saw that her clan was awake and thriving, she took a deep breath in and out, smelling all the morning forest scents.

Jayclaw decided to join the patrol, spraying marks on the trees, no clan should trespass on his watch! Dusk Clan has a new warrior to help protect the clan, he followed close behind the leader of the patrol, tail high.

Moonpaw stealthily hid in the grass, waiting to leap onto his opponent, he needed to please his mentor, so he'll attack as perfect as he can so his mentor can't scold him for messing up horribly. Moonpaw wriggled his backside, springing onto the apprentice's back, claws sheathed and bringing him to the ground, battering him with his paws.

She sat down in front of her den and lazily watched the camp. She didn't have much planned for the day, since she was well stocked on herbs.

Jayclaw pricked his ears, the patrol nearing the borders to mark more scents, something was moving in the bushes. Jayclaw crouched down, raising his tail quietly to try and signal to the others something is up.

Moonpaw squeaked, getting pinned by the bigger apprentice once he hopped off of him, Moonpaw kicked at his belly, getting him off and bounding back over to his mentor.
